Our backs are barren
**** and cold,
and we'll hug warmly
in a sporadic breath.

Reflected boldly
on a royal sword;
a caress will freeze
drowned in coldness and blush.

Broken bits of a tempo
slowly find their way;
and we'll replay back the symphony
when we're in dismay.

Like puzzle pieces trapping
scrambled sand in an hourglass;
only meaningful when time
elapses through an atom of sand.

Those puzzle pieces
are scattered and raw
small, radiant words
and bleary, missing faces.

Typically vivid when
they're glued correctly to show
a painting of a hidden memory;
it's a noisy, deserted strand.

So whenever we fight
I'll willfully lose my psyche;
to replay back the moment
I embraced you in my sight.

I can't believe that every freakin day I wake up thinking of those circles and go back to bed late night getting somewhere lost inside those comic strips. It has always been there at the back of my head for the past few years, but when it started to bite my conscience, I began to solve the puzzle, little every day. These days I sit in the library, stare at my computer screen, deduct lanes, find faces, trace stores and calculate the kilometres that my mind travels in a minute. It makes me high somewhere and trust me, technology amuses me every time I crack one little clue and reaches one step ahead in solving my mystery. Yesterday night, I was watching NASA's live announcement on the discovery of seven earth sized planets and for a moment I thought what if my mystery fell right out of Tardis. Who knows.

Your eyes are rough as
your fingers dance over Rubik's Cubes
in achingly distant memories.

How I loved the echoing sound
which I am slowly forgetting.
~~ It is strangely painful to miss something that you never had before. ~~

On the last day we spoke, you compared me to a 1000 piece puzzle.

One of those puzzles in which half is made up of a pretty blue sky, with big poofy clouds.

The other half is a plain field of grass.

You also compared me to a colorful rubix cube, the sparkly ones to be exact.

My unique and confusing disarray of color patterns make me approachable.

You said all this is the perspective
that while I'm interesting at first glance, no one wants to stick around long enough to solve me.

I never would of thought that a loss of a poets friendship would be harshest of all.

I guess I should have known.

Tell me
the first thought of your day
and the last prayer
in your night

tell me what shapes
you see in the clouds

and which songs
keep playing in your head

tell me about
your recurring dreams

tell me about the scents
that take you back

tell me how long
you can look at me
before breaking eye contact

tell me why you
sigh in elevators

then tell me how you keep
your feet warm in the winter

tell me when your tears
rushed uncontrollably

tell me which mistakes
you appreciate
and which ones
you try to ignore

tell me
and I promise you
I won't try to fit your
pieces like a puzzle

I promise you
I will treat
your every block
like a masterpiece

A boy riding a bicycle was crossing the country border
The border guard stopped him and checked his bag
Found nothing but a bag of salt, guard let him go

Again next day the boy was riding a bicycle
With a bag of salt, the guard let him go again
This same process went on and on, for weeks

One day the guard checked him
To see if it was real salt or drugs
After some test, the guard found out,
That it was simple salt and nothing else
The boy was actually taking away a new bicycle everyday
But the guard has no idea,
Because he was deceived by the bag of salt.

Jaggedly pieced together
We're fragmented beautifully
Oddly, this love fits
my attempt at a  10 word poem. Love can work if you work out the angles.
In this sea of words
You're my favorite catch phrase
Just seeing you makes me end up in a daze
Your face reminds me of a wonderful yet confusing maze
Puzzling yet so endearing
It leaves my face beaming
A little something I thought of as I was studying calculus for it is our quarterly test tomorrow... wish me luck guys! :)
