Your words were like a beautiful song, yet your silence was like a sacred prayer.

"Oh God," she says, hands clasped together, fingers entwined, knees bent.
He doesn't answer; /he does.
/he answers with earnest, continued, devoted worship,
head bowed, eyes closed, his mind devoid of all else but this
—this soul-shaking, earth-shattering pleasure, this blessed communion between man and woman,
the Holy Spirit an undoubted ****** through the candlelight,
this holy practice wherein they do some of their finest praying.
This poem was written in 2020.

I told you from the beginning...
If you touch me,
You'll hurt me.
You heard me,
So you laid your hands on me to pray
The best intentions can be harmful.

God,
Help me believe You're using this brokenness in me for a reason.
Help me see Your good ways and plans for my life.
Father,
You see my pain, it feels too much to bear many days.
It feels like an endless cycle, fighting it feels so hard.
Help me have hope in You.
Help me see myself more the way You see me, Lord.
Creator,
I know You created me with amazing creativity and with good gifts.
Help me to honor that and see that more than the way I currently am seeing myself.

They stand like folding memories,
rising to bid the conscious farewell.
in this illusive state she ponders,
praying for the retention of a familiar.
sigh.
each exhale releases an ache,
for its return is unclear.
holding onto a thread she walks,
following a trial of fear and wishes;
together. it's a promise.

His vision in sight
He gathers his strength to fight
Praying he will win

Thank you, Father, that I have a purpose
one that runs deeper than the surface
Thank you, Lord, for cleansing me
from all of my inequities, you have set me free
My burden is gone, my eyes have been opened
to You, I surrender my utmost devotion
My body is hungry for a touch from Your hand
My spirit is thirsty for Your promised land
I sing praises to Thee with love and with care
to You, my Great Master
This is my prayer.

BELIEVING*

Stick unto God and believe in yourself. *It'd be bright after the dark.* There most be a black *time dark starry night before an open heaven* of a brighter sunny day.

Came a long way searching better day. _Through all agonies, never give up the pain,_ only doubts obstructs the gain.
Acquiring a dream is sowing a maize 🌽 *nurturing it cares about it,* **** it from negative vibes.
And protect it from enemy's pest, control it with some fervent prayer, hit not the player play the game.
A faithful mind makes wishes come true.
