A glorious ship sets sail,
Robust engines begin to fire.
A billowing cloud marks their trail
Whisking along, climbing higher.
Soon to find they’re moving frail,
Over-capacity, the engines tire.
Panic… passengers want to bail
Before the ships fatigue is dire.
“The ships too big to fail”,
Assured the disguised liar
Over the radio in a voice so stale,
He sold the tickets to every buyer.
Acting like there’s no need to worry
The crew continues out to sea,
News on board spreads in a hurry,
The passengers whisper quietly.
The crewman shouting, “all aboard!”,
They look around, only to see,
Transport of the vaulted horde
As their count exceeds capacity.
For profit loomed so temptingly,
Blighted the soul in greedy begrime,
Of that owner who sits at home,
The culprit in this unwatched crime
As the magistrate declared he’s free to roam.
Back on the ship, the haul is flooding,
So abrupt, they had no time.
Sinking further to the depths and sure to drown,
They let out a last and desperate horn to chime,
As water rising—muffled the sound.
“We’ll do everything we can!”,
Exclaims the man who’s pockets lined,
Pays off investigators to seal his plan,
A freak accident without blame to find,
Invisible strings puppeteer,
The death of thousands into happenstance,
Foul play at the hands of a financier,
Onto his next venture without a second glance.
Perhaps one day a corrected fate
Will rise in the eyes of history,
And right the legacy of our current state,
Shedding light on the darkness of the shadow of inequality.
Keep Rambling On

Say it now
Before the verbal amputation
And issue of an apology for
Three little words
Expressed from the heart
Given freely
Never to take back

But a world around us
Scrutinizes our every move
Smacking on the hand
When we've done the unthinkable
And said something
Against their liking

Take it on the chin
Take it in the eye
They can't keep us
From how we truly feel

I wielded my sword
And slayed the foul dragon,
Then crammed the vile beast
Right back in his flagon.

Pickled and sodden
There will he lie
Few to remember
Fewer to cry.

Obnoxious his deeds,
Destructive his breath,
His venom pervasive,
So glad for his death.

Now we can harness
Our thoughts and our prayers,
Be kind and productive
Not just dragon slayers.

This noble island
This hallowed soil,
So very much more
Than one man’s spoil.

Let the healing commence,
Work as one to achieve,
A country in which
We all so believe.

A land of invention,
Of Shakespeare and Keats,
Of boundless endeavor,
Whose heart strongly beats.

We take back the power, for the people,
We fight to the last, for the people,
We work together, for the people,
We ask no questions, for the people,
We accept all information, for the people,
We hate those we are told, for the people,
We sacrifice the individual, for the people,
We live and die, for the people,
For the people!
The people....
What people?
The worst crimes in history,
Where committed with the best intentions!

Now they’ve done it, this is real,
Trying hard my job to steal,
Why they’d want it no-one knows,
This frenzied pack of feeding crows.

Impeach for this, Impeach for that,
A sirens’ song that just falls flat,
They little know I planned the lot,
Goading Biden to this spot.

I may be brazen but I’m not dumb,
To simple traps I don’t succumb,
A life of deals, of double talk,
I choose the prey I want to stalk.

Let them rejoice, exchange high fives,
Parade on air flaunting their knives,
While all the time I’m hard at work,
Piling dirt on that servile clerk.

Six feet deep or even more
Is how I’ll settle this one score,
And then who’s left – two ****** fools,
The one just blabbers, the other drools.

So bring it on, I wait with glee,
For all the world this show to see,
Four more years with me on top,
All their efforts one huge flop.

[Lyric re-write: The Times they are a Changin’, by Bob Dylan]

Come gather ‘round, voters
Wherever’s your Poll?
And admit rising waters
Around you now flow
And accept it is sooner
Than science had shown
It’s ah crime the earth we’re not savin’
Get propeller power whirlin’
Charge yer lights with the sun
For the Climate is ah Changin’

Come haters and cynics
Who Twitter and spin
Better open yer eyes
For the Glaciers are thin
Our POTUS hates science
Wants it all about him
No compassion for another
He’s a gamblin’ we’re losers
And payin’ his bills
While the Climate is ah Changin’

Come Senator McConnell
Stop blockin’ the Bills
Don’t stand in our way
As the ice melts and spills
Our earth is ah hurtin’
While you don’t heed calls
The storm outside is ah ragin’
And soon for our children
No future at all
For the Climate is a Changin’

Come sisters and brothers
We must make a stand
And all realize
What is now in our hands
For if we do nothin’
They’ll ravish the land
Unlivable for the ages
Inaction and tarry
Is all they have planned
While the Climate is ah Changin’

The time has now come
The dye, it is cast
If we slow down
It’ll soon come to pass
Our chances are fadin’
The present, our last
Leavin’ life no safe haven
So what we don’t need
Is coal, oil, or gas
Cuz the Climate is a Changin’

West of China
The moon shines bright
As a pearl
Only to be swallowed up my a
Demonic Chinese dragon
Plunging turkestan
Into darkness
As a white dove flies by
Unscathed.
