He was my whole world
With him my future was furled
Yet my soul felt there was something a lack
Of what I couldn't find a fact.

My wandering heart began to stir
For another planet I began to explore
But I couldn't find anything like the world he gave
Though what I found I began to crave

The new reminds me not of the old
It makes me feel things that couldn't be told
My mind no longer chained to the ground
To no ones planet am I bound

I rest now a moon in the sky
For I told his world goodbye
Now it be just me and I
Searching for what makes my soul fly.

Hello, Earth
How are you
It's been a while since we've really talked
I've missed you
Have you missed me
Of course
I already know the answer to that question
I'm floating slowly
Away from you
I hope I don't float too far
If you disappear
Who will I talk to?
I don't have many people left
All the others ignore me
I miss you
Do you miss me?
Metaphorical stance, Pluto is me. How y'all doing today?

Our relationship was orbital
Dancing around each other
I around you
Like the planets dance
Around the sun
Just floating
And when we go long enough
We align
A beautiful eclipse
That only we can see
One of us always blocks the other

He was the sun -
orbiting around her lifeless body,
bringing growth and development
to her nimble structure she called

                   home.
Keeping it short and bitter. Sometimes we just feel misunderstood and unnoticed.
I envy the sun.
I envy the way she glides through the sky with summer breeze.
The way she anticipates the moves of all those below her.
The way she controls the earth that controls the moon.
She shines all day and all night.
She is not envious.
She is never tired.
She is the sun.
