The alphabet has 26 letters
So I can make 26 different scenarios in my head
Yet they almost never occur
But it still feels like the world is pulling murphy's laws against me

Or is it my overthinking that is playing  to my disadvantage?
When every sounds, every silences can have meanings
When everything can be a sign
Poor social and emotional skills

Life without a plan
Questions that even Google cannot answer
Yet with time I have learnt that there is only one truth
I'll be fine no matter what

I. Conquer time
Follow the falling leaves as they circle through time
Feel their greenery bring you back to life
And watch as a new spring comes back with an old face
dance amongst the snow that once watered the ground
And watch as it falls onto the earth only to fade away

II. Dream of flight
Watch the soaring hawks and the aeroplanes
And wish upon their wings for some new days
Watch the falling stars as they carry the burden of wishes
And the night showers that part two lovers on a vacant street
Stare down at the world and watch as life goes by
Spread your wings and get ready to fly

III. Chase the stars
Talk to the moon about the ones you once knew
Tell the night sky the stories you’ve never told
And fade into the quietness as a new dream envelopes you
Think of the stars and reach out into the sky
Remember your life and search for the cold nights you used to love
Start a few fires to make the stars in your pockets feel at home
And chase after the ones you haven’t got to know.

Tell me
What’s your endgame plan?
You snap your fingers
And I melt in your hand
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
I wish I
Could rescue us
Avengers Endgame was so good!
It took a bit of courage
Whiskey and Cigar
I spent the day working on it
Sitting in my local bar

I planned it out precisely
I'd drop by her place by eight
I kept building up my courage
I made sure I wasn't late

She let me in and kissed me
I lit a smoke and grabbed a drink
She went into the bedroom
I had five minutes more to think

I poured myself another
Put the smoke upon the glass
I went into the bedroom
And then it came to pass

It started with three little words
She started as my friend
And now again, three little words
Put this friendship at an end

The three words were I love you
And those words made her cry
The three words now were different
Sorry, and goodbye

I left the glass upon the table
The cigar, I left that too
I left and she was crying
It was what I had to do

The courage that I needed
Had expired as I spoke
It was resting on her table
A glass of whiskey and a smoke

wacky butterfly,
with a whimsical flight plan!
joking with movements.

Wait, take any poses,
Record the celebration,
Solve, envy, this threat,
Take it by the throat, frown.

Stay ahead of any gossip,
Endure wishlist big mouths,
As if this day is the last,
It's like he's already nobody's.

Don't hesitate too long,
Leave tomorrow on someone's nonsense,
Get tired, pretend, get even,
I understand where the "yes", I understand where the "no".

The thing about
not planning
is that you're
planning on it

We are building New Babylon
out of carcasses and bones,
repeating the design flaws
of ancestors,
undoing our future,
sealing the destiny
for generations to come,
We are the very stones
built into these walls,
the same ones we throw
when we turn on our own.
And these stones
are what our hearts are made of.
Our thoughts are but paper
forgotten tomes, decaying pages.
Redundant and irrelevant
is what we have become.
Behold the great construction
of our ultimate destruction.
...just dug up this oldie from back when I used to write like this...

i don't have a plan
i can't find the time
i don't have the skills

i can't seem to start it
i don't want to touch it
i can't think about it

i want to do it
i want to finish
i just want it done
try reading it reverse.
