We spend our nights
searching for perfection.

In places, in people, in things
we can never have.

Through the cityscapes
and sunsets
and the crashing waves
and the ache
of being alone.

We chase the feelings,
lost in our memories,
hoping to find wholeness
in places and people
that don't exist.
inspired by perfect places by lorde
I was at twentieth crossing to twenty-first
when green lights turned baby blue.
In these places you are not
allowed to do anything
without regrets or financial plans that'll
be dismissed as Invalid.
You do not fit in like a
mulatto in these places,
For the 'dare' requests your opinions-
only to tell you how young
people like you shouldn't
be in places you live.
Nothing gets going for it's
either rocky or potholed In these places.
It's the speedy cheetahs like us
sprinting to faint in these places.
Places turning self-proclaimed lions into puppies;
Laughter Is a jewel and loyalty
becomes rare like everything else In these places.
You get to understand the materialisticness
of life In these places.
For those that you go with
will threaten to leave you In these places.
...This Is the best poem I ever wrote

Its been a while since we sat and talked,
My friends of faceless fame.
Its been a while since I lost my friend,
My treasured brat, little one.
I found a path that killed the pain,
A path not walked for reasons.
I spent two weeks on its twisted curves,
And a fortune in green backed dollars.
The world sparkled for a while,
Crystalline lights and marble castles.
But now its over and my process done,
Back onto gravel work strewn passes.
Lets not wait so long my friend,
To talk of loved ones lost to life.
Lets spend more time with each others words,
Where we can cry and laugh and love.
An rambling mess about dealing with the pain of losing a loved one, everyone has their way, mine is not to cry but get lost in horrid places.

places are people
people are souls
souls are infinity
we need to go on
keep growing

I have been in places worse
Where I could not see the light
It was different I swear
Than how I feel tonight
This is not pain in my smile
It is something I can't name
Every time I sigh I know
I am the one to blame
Another oldie

I feel most myself when I am loving you
strawberry seeds on the top of your tongue and I’ve never tasted anyone so sweet
we are made of the same skin
and I don’t worry that in another life I may not have found you, for our hiding places are the same

Trying to prevent you from living,
those who send you there to be eaten alive.
Thinking of being forgiving
even when they
deprive.

Venture to the north
The peace in the east
The land in pieces
Going to small places
The pink and blue town
huge marvelous palaces
On foot for days
The sand and mud stays
at the back of shoes
The path left ahead is beautiful
But am I ready to face the shine
Where to draw the fine line
