I gracefully begin painting a masterpiece with black and white
My fingers, the paintbrush
The piano, the canvas
Whose keys unlock a world of passion and creativity
Meandering through melancholy minor and merry majors
The keys sing melodies as my fingers dance across the canvas
Something I've learned, something that can transcend
This world of music and into the way we live
Playing music and creating music
Those are two different things
When we live life, what do we bring
Are we merely pressing white and black keys
Or are we intentionally engaging our unique hearts
Bringing color to what was lifeless, not simply playing a part
Do we live passively, or are our hearts bursting with excitement
An anticipation that the One whose Son He sent
Is going to move tremendously, is going to Open eyes for people to see
That life with Him is greater than anything the world dreams
That Only His love can satisfy the void in a soul
And that He removes skin that's old
He softens hearts that have grown cold

i want to play a piano
i want to feel my fingers slide down the keys
i want to swirl myself in melodies no one’s ever heard
i want to engulf myself in harmonies
angels sing their children to sleep
i want my fingers to dance on black keys
like ballet dancers twirling their tiptoes
i want to feel like satin unwinding
like champagne bubbling
i want to dance in the moonlight
with nothing but a grand piano
and my fingers
nimbly picking each key
ever so softly

Note to note across the keys
My fingers jumping as if brought to life at last
Finally bringing my mind to ease
My fingers moving incredibly fast

I barely see the notes
It all comes automatically
The entire world around me floats
Feeling so ecstatically

Music is an amazing thing
No matter the kind
Let's go out play and sing
I would not mind

To see all those faces filled with joy
Even though i am talking here about the Piano. It is generally about instruments or music in general. It is for a lot of people including me the best way to relax and calm down. There is no language barrier. Music brings people together. Go out and play some music!

dots on lines
and sticks with flags
chaos to an untrained eye
but to the few who understand
they can already hear the masterpiece
a melody bold and clear
being accompanied by harmonies
the grand build to forte
before it drops to piano

All to create a story in sound
Music is my  escape

A gentle yet somewhat eccentric
The time stops and enjoys
My focus magnified
Like a certain high
Floating along with time
An unending nostalgia
Hair in my skin stands
Telling myself to breathe
I could just die right here
Its a romance in motion
An angels poem.
It's a piano piece, Gymnopédie # 1 by Erik Satie.

you lied to me, idiot
you told me that we would play songs together
you told me that you would play with me
for the last time in your life
before you truly left me *behind

under the petals of the cherry blossoms
i was just a friend of yours who seemed so ordinary
a person who just wrote scores to a music sheet
whose fingers haven't touched a piano in years
stuck in the past of his horrible memories

you keep bugging me for canelés
you keep hitting me with your shoe
you keep pestering me to keep practising
i hate the way you see me as just a friend
but i really don't know what made me love you

you hid a secret from me at the start of april
henceforth, i was able to know about it
to know about it by seeing it without warning
that you were at your last days during the winter months
your hand slipping from consciousness, losing its grip

these music sheets i was never able to grasp for long
you gave them back to me, the energy that i've lost
to play the music full of words and expression
for i truly cannot be good with my own words
but through sounds, i can reach your heart

for the last time, i played, i played out for you
my heart pouring its feelings onto the piano
as if it was my very own, indulged to its melody
you face before me one last time with your violin
before i knew it, you left me with tears streaking down my cheeks

*you may be an idiot, but i love you very much
Your Lie In April

I apologize - I mean no love for you in this poem - *******

I am vastly viewing the plains of my thoughts, alas, looking for a song to play.
I will sit in my chair, pondering the notes and clefts through the day.

The song I will play only for you and you only, as I search for the note or key that sounds.
I will frolic through the keys as I know that one key is important, within the mounds.

In harmony, I will play, to match my keys to the key of our heart, only for a smile.
If the key of the heart is touched by my keys, I will await for you to dial.
I'll sing to you, as you listen, however, off the notes are, I will fulfill the rhythm of your soul, by each stroke.
short , random poem :)

Cool ivory, his fingers touch;
A masterful sound.

Melodies crushed, words hush,
Heavy bonds do the notes make,
Beneath the weight of tears.

Pure white, dim-light,
Notes escape from warm breath;
The show goes on.
He played in the lobby, and it reminded me of someone...I felt my eyes begin to swell, so I closed them shut.
