You are mine and I am yours

I am I and you are you

Independently we share our lives together

Through our journey what we've done

No matter if we lost or won

Its brought us together

So instead of two we can be one

What I lack you have

And for you the same I got you

In that were blessed we both gain

They are they who do what they'll do

To each and their own

Woe to anyone or thing negative or faux

Oh How this life has made us grow

Were blessed with power to just know

Because though I am I as are you

And the truth is what we know

Together we will reap what we sow

scared of sleeping
‪to relive the same bad dream‬
the one where death taken you
from me
I want him back. I need him here.

I need you like the hour needs the minute hand.

You and I against the world is how I feel, like when we got the fabrics scanned.

I need you like a molecule needs the remaining of its DNA strand.

You and I know todays have been tough, starting up a hustle knowing your pieces are in demand.

I need you to believe you are writing a story, which you'll live to tell firsthand.

You and I are not perfect, and all I hope is we fill in the blanks.

Every tiny bit about you,
I love it, yes, I do.
I feel elated and elevated,
Each night, I promise to hold you tight,
Only as tight to make you feel warm,
To make you feel that you are only mine.
My dear Mitali suggested the title.

That bird -
Perched on a neem branch,
Its beady eyes search through scorching rays
For its departed half long drowned
In the dusty depths of Earth.
Hollow heart thumps
In mere existence.
Hours pass by.

Hope
Dims in this twilight sun but
Somehow,
Weaves its way through these
Wayward winds
Calls and cries of anguish
Shatter against the Gates of Heaven
Melodies of melancholies
Capture my wandering mind,
I watch until
Lingering love transforms into starlit forlorn.

Wistful.

as if the moon could bring me to you,
shining its radiant, iridescent glow
and lighting up the night

our distance could be cut in two,
the moon as our messenger, as though
it powers us through the fight

i had you for the moment,
but before long, you took your leave,
promising a new world for us

but don't worry about it,
because it was always you who i'd believe,
and it was right of me to trust

we had our own goals to achieve,
through the galaxy, we'd traverse
doing all that we can

you always returned to me
my only, my beloved, my universe
and i love you with everything i am
for my fe3h playthrough~

You are the love of my life,
The one who makes my heart race.
You are the light of my life,
The one who knows how to make me smile.

You are the one I want to be with,
Every morning and every night.
You are the one I hope to marry,
To have children and grow old with you.

You are my favorite person,
You tell me that I am yours.
You are both my lover and friend,
You tell me that I am yours.

Now until forever,
With no end in sight:
You are mine,
And I am yours.

A notice, a chance
To speak face to face
Presented and hopeful
Alas, when voiced to those in power
The first response, a gentle no
The second, a firm rejection
Surprised, and eventually scared

Loaded and driven away
Fear settles in
An icy realization
Notify the partner in crime
All is unstable

Arriving at the destination
Other home
Another place where I yearn to be alone
To shed tears of fear and pain
A deep, gnawing aching
Once more, a fresh wound
A gaping hole in my chest
Bleeding, tainting all it touches

Allowing salty rivers to flow for a short while
Then fold, fold enough paper to stretch for a mile
25 at one home, 65 at another
Folding until I must stop
Or until not one more tear does drop

All left to be shed on the inside
Then laid to rest
For remembering what I had said,
"I will wait for you, as long as it takes."

This promise I shall keep
Indeed, sometimes I shall weep
But would one not weep,
When all is left to the unknown
And you are left all alone?

The days shall be long
But I shall keep you in my heart
Even if I am shattered, in part,
I shall remain strong

Awaiting the day when you return
For this time, I did learn
To be patient, for all good things come in time
For now you remain in my love-filled rhyme
Just as I remember you
With that smile, and all the things you do
And hopefully, one day I shall hear you say again,
"I love you too."

One day..

Waves, like hands comforting the dry rocks.

My stone cold heart.

He promised me to always be my wave.

Everytime I'm about to dry out he's there.

Washing away all fear.

When I'm about to suffocate, he changes direction.

Allowing me to breathe.

Exposing me to the sun.

Like clockwork he's there again, soaking me.

Are you crying from lying I'm desperately trying to understand your brain.
There is a part I'm never buying and I know I'm not insane.
You say you want to prove this wrong but you know it's not the same!
I want to carry the message along as life is not a game.
