The Phoenician explained the contents of the letter
Rose through the sand, should have brought sophisticated research
Castles near Alexandria breathed through the Rafael among many a patrons' painting
Icarus falls leisurely on my mind, except the wings look like hot wax
Measured by affluence, wandered the battlefield
Nevermind the clothes, and the shelter was in abundance
In my mind, it would probably be romantic and precarious
Closer to my eyes, the labyrinth unfolded
Brushing past crowds serenaded in my broken memory
Daedalus, I need you to heed my tears right now
Wipe the ink from the blood and sweat of invention
Miserable in your powerful intellect, Minos' knights bring death
Icarus never appalled me, paled in comparison to the living
An old rhyme followed the time in memoriam of my brother Icarus
Timeo danaos et dona ferentes
Break the statue, and find your favoritism in Apollo
Melt like the ephemeral wind
The dedication of his Ephemeris for 1620 consists of a letter to Napier dated the 28th of July 1619, and he there congratulates him warmly on his invention and on the benefit he has conferred upon astronomy generally and upon Kepler's own Rudolphine tables.

Chance
is being in the right place
at the right time,
coinciding with the orbit
of another searching
the aspirations that you to seek.
A connection needs attention,
a compliment, a smile,
an enquiry of mutual interest
that engages instantly.
The abdication of convenient norms,
a shift in behaviour,
adopting a new travel direction.
It requires no discrimination,
but an open welcoming mind,
conjoining parallel convergence,
Meeting.

I love your light
The way it leads past eternal dark.
I really believe that this is the universe,
Expanding in front of me.
The best feeling staring right at me.
How beautiful, just to exist.
To not rush a thing.
Being known, a limitless possibility
Venturing past the impossible.
A type of love discovered after eclipse.
The way you sparkle, orbiting the entire world.
A world comprised entirely of you.
The region's shift, broken up in cosmic shift.
& I
Forever lost
In the scatter of shooting stars,
Beneath tectonic plates.
Your heart, your soul, the universe

Weep me into an orbit
secure my warmth into it
Elevated, tremble me still
Lifting my legs into the air
And completely releasing the ground
Most comforting coldness
Welcomes me to a void
An inter-clashing of hollow and heart
I see nothing before me
I feel nothing beneath me
Moving only relatively to you
But the air between us bends
My bones feel crisp
When energy evolves into matter
Experiencing, for the first time,
Negative space
Seeing what nothingness lies before me
The acceptance
Ensuring calamity’s deference
I’ll be there
May I be still but I am moving
You see me here
Mightful in collision and clamour
Which rings so silently
That my breathing sounds greater
I long to be there
To dissipate into light
Become a pull in the tide
Warp everything inside
Regenerating my new birth
Fulfilled by the presence of lacuna
i want to be consumed by a black hole

bitter blue breezes glide across your skin
in an overflowing orbit that always seems to win
listen to the sound of the voice of the wind
a biting chill claws its clever way in

a regal violet sky engulfs the velvet atmosphere
as the strange trees swing in tandem, you feel honored to be here
listen
listen to the voice
the ones within the forest rejoice

misty and soft is this place
enchantment is cast upon your face

the fae wilde invites your spirit in
the grooves in the wood are carved like a mandolin
listen
listen
your heart will feel the stars glisten
listen
a psychedelic morning storm

You are my world, so can I be your moon?

My gravity will pull and push you,
Creating tides in the depths of your oceans and the surface of your atmosphere
I will cause some of your highest highs and will be there for you at your lowest lows.

I am composed of debris from a nameless planet colliding with earth long ago
Which means I am
literally
your other half.

Our orbit began during chaos
I needed someone to cling to
someone to love like I love you.

Now we're locked in this give and take forever
At least until the sun swallows us whole
in forty billion years.
Somehow, that's still not long enough.

I'm not sure if there's an after life for celestial beings
So I pray to every god I can think of that there is
So I will never spend too long in the silent absence of you -
It always crawls at my skin to think of missing you.

For now
I'll sit back and enjoy the view.

Ever wonder why the moon has no atmosphere?
It's because the earth took its breath away.

you see,

once you
realize
that you
were never part
of someone's orbit,

you'll notice
the right planets,
the heavenly bodies
you once admired,
come and intensely
gravitate towards you:

an extraordinary
celestial body
— unlike the sun —
shines without exhaustion.

A mysterious sign, this errant warning
Weighing heavy now in late evening
The moon is rising over dark horizons
To chase the mourning light of sun
Moon of mine, heaven's reflection above
What lives have led us to this ruin?
