Ineffable Soul Apr 2020
Will I ever truly love?
Or shall the feelings forever remain unfelt.
Will I ever find the ability to convey?
Or shall the flutter of my heart.
Continue to throttle the only difference
between the norm and the not.
Will I ever belong?
Or shall the loss persist to be lost.
As each and every mistake
fades into the distance
with an open embrace.

Oh these feelings
and those flutters
woe the loss.
Will I ever - truly love?

Days have melted into nights
Nights into nothingness
Nothingness into unlimited infinities
Infinities shift to possibilities
Possibilities give birth to chances I never seem to take
Chances transform to regrets
Regrets end up with nosebleeds.
What I'm trying to say is that
I wonder a lot
And it appears that it has often led me off of the road
I found beauty but I also found a place where Color goes to die.

does nothingness have a reflection
can it survive in the orange fog of today's kingdom
the kingdom that once was so Camelot

Can you see it?
Joshua Feb 2020
Hello,
Hi,
Do you see me?
Can you hear me?
It's been so long since we've been one
So long since i've been gone
I grow to love the feel of your unseeing gaze
I now float in the arms that'll never hold me
Now i understand your ways
Your mystery plain as day
I need not speak to tell
I need not live to breathe
I need not breathe to live
You taught me nothing
Now i understand everything.

I was once in a desert,
traveling in void when the wind was blowing dirt,
sand dunes never wavered me,
cold nights did not trouble me.

The well nearby did dry,
water and thirst had come and gone by,
living this way could not be a high,
words alone are not enough to cleanse a sand kissed eye.

Sun and moon came and went,
nature was no longer revealing any imaginary bent,
how to persist when this desert has me spent,
who knows tomorrow an oasis may spring near my tent.
TS. 2020.  Poem about nothingness.  When nothing comes to you, what do you write on?

Wilderness in the brightest light
Imagination that always takes flight
Never will it end for all of time
For it shaped the universe in its prime

Chronology has no place here
With the fantasies of fun not fear
No one will let out a tear nor prayer
Knowing they are safe here in nowhere

what remains if

nothing remains?
there is always a way out. it depends on the stops you make and on the people you encounter during your journey.

Was it a destiny
Or a coincidence?
To cast away
Womb of hope
Everytime
Little by little

Till zeal is lost
Till the faith is blur
Till numbness felt
Till heavy breaths
Till one is cold
When nothing repairs
And the soul is dead

Little by little
Nothing remains
No one to blame
And the Time said
I will never be
The same
With emptiness
