They fall for all to see,
an emotional wreck.
The queen of selfies,
a broken mess.
Check the label,
grasp the best, outlier, different from the rest.
A wandering eye,
engaged to chaos.
An optimistic seed,
still part of growth,
masked with a broken cloak,
just something to fix,
truths scare most.
Weakened souls,
from broken homes,
destine to live disguised,
break from the chains of emotion,
and let lies die to let live what was hidden.
New beginnings.
With every break up comes a new beginning.

What a difference a day makes
24 evolving hours
As the earth turns a new leaf
Beauty blossoms from our sours

We found an enchanted key
And put it in the lock
Turned it till the light burst out
And energy began to flock

We tuned back in the radio
To a frequency with a mark
No more long lost crackle
But a station with a spark

The flowers have started to bud
The clouds have started to go
The walls have started to melt
The light has started to glow

Sometimes i don't want to be tethered to yesterday
It's nicer to forget
But having eyes wide to the future
Requires retrospective respect

To reach the top of maslow's pyramid
You have to knock down the walls
Reshuffle all the cards
And see where they might fall

Your peccadillo was just a trigger
To the burst of autumn red
I've awoken from my torper
And turned reality on its head.

False eyes cast shadows
across the glint of a dark horizon.

A stained mattress and a trace of senselessness.
A vacancy and a void.

Prospects of chaos.
Overbearing amounts of black coffee.

A box of aged slides,
projected onto a brick wall.

Nerve endings.
A small beginning.

Mistakes have been made. Scares left to see and regret still lingers with in me. But I rejoice and thank God for the new days he has given me. A fresh start a new heart. To fill with happy memories.

He makes me smile from a part of my cheeks
that I never knew existed

There's nothing quite like cuddling you
Early in the morning
While the house lies still and quiet
And it feels like all the world is fast asleep
Your bristly chin rubbing across my forhead
Your eyes smiling seductively with your **** lips
Hungry, yet gentle, your fingertips move across my hips
I burrow down against your chest
There's nowhere safer than here in your arms
The scent of your skin like Linus' blanket to my soul

He lies atop her in the darkness
Passion leaves them beautiful, breathless
A bead of sweat falls from his brow
Following the curve of her arm
Reflecting the light from down the hall
The sparkling droplet catches her eye, she sighs
Bodies entwined, a Lord & his Lady,
Rememberings of a shakespearean dream
Timeless sonnets spun from a golden spire
Their love is a requiem to other worlds
A lost age, all but forgotten
The blood roils in her veins, curling her toes
She meets his gaze and feels her pulse begin to rise
A smile playing on her lips, hand caressing his cheek,
Enflamed by the magic of their desire
They fly on waxen wings
Ever closer toward the heat
Unfettered by proximity
Two hearts make one
Bright and burning like the Sun

I want you to know that
Even though
Things didn't work out
Between the two of us,
I am okay
I always have been
And I always I will be
Because I do not need you to complete me.

Maybe it's because I feel as though today's work hasn't been completed.
Or possibly because today has ****** and surely should have been better.
Depending on the day, sometimes I don't want 11:59 to sneak up on me because my bad days seem to out number the good and I want the good days to last much longer than one more lousy minute.
I can't quite put my finger on what it is I hate the most about watching the time change from 11:59 to midnight.
Perhaps what I hate the most is, like it or not, I  will never have a chance to live this exact day again.
Whenever 12 am rolls around, I can't help but cringe.
