The flashing lights
A dance of your life

Spinning
Spinning
Don't stop spinning

The music thrums
Your body twirls

Around
Around
Can't stop moving

The drinks are sweet
Your mind begins to slip

Falling
Falling
Just let it slip away

The flashing lights
A dance of your life

Didn't I make you feel happy?
Didn't I cause you to smile?
I am sorry that it didn't work,
At least I had you for awhile.

Didn't know you would break my heart,
I fell in love with you,
It's my fault, I should have known,
You were too good to be true.

CHORUS:

Will you be mine again someday?
How did this happen? Will we still call and speak?
Please wait, don't go, give me one chance,
Or at least the answers I seek.

Fairytales set me up for certain disappointment
Princes don't exist in real life,
So I was shocked when I realized
I wouldn't be your queen or wife.

Hurts my heart to hear you say
Feelings are fading now,
I can't sleep alone in my empty bed,
Silence has never seemed so loud.

CHORUS

I will be nothing but a memory before long,
You're moving forward without me, but I can't move on.

LOVE
could be a question of
who
when
how
but never
‘why?’

LOVE
could be a matter of
falling unexpectedly
under the sweetly cool
november sky

LOVE
could sometimes be
a gradual burn
or high paced recklesness
laced with unmasked desperation
and a wordless goodbye

LOVE
could have been
you and I

but LOVE
I never would have thought
be fleeting and discreet-
surprisingly gone
the moment we meet

LOVE
as I now know it to be
is an erratic creature
neither bitter nor sweet

LOVE
is a moment
I would never forget-
his eyes aflame under
the painted sunset

LOVE
was him
and all the things we
left unsaid

LOVE
is now
nothing but a far memory-
that of a star that once burned the brightest but
now is
dead.
I saw him yesterday, for the first time in a while.
I was expecting butterflies and all the trouble that accompanied a girl in love, but I was greeted with none of those.
I felt calm. It seems that I have moved on.
I've written this poem a long time ago, but it is only now that I truly relate to it.

You are no longer a cure for her wound.
Her heart is fed up with all of this hurt.

Go on and forget her forever,
Step away from her path and disappear.

Dragon Lines
Shadow lines,
I strive to survive.
Pushing the dawn away,
chasing the dragon...

The sun's rise reminds us
That we too can rise
From the falls and slips
That we go through.

But for the sun to rise
The Earth has to rotate
On its own axis.

And for us to rise,
We need to
Keep moving.

Keep moving
Keep smiling
Keep trying hard

and

Keep living and ..
Let others live too..

I'm dreading.

To pack everything,
from the place we used to call ours.

The empty boxes are staring back at me.

I can't bring myself to fill them.

I'm scanning the apartment that used to be ours..

I'm seeing our history repeating itself.

I somehow see your shadow from the kitchen,
and mine from the living room.

I hear your laughter when you mess up cooking..

And suddenly you're everywhere, and I'm paralyzed.

I can't move you into boxes, and I can't leave you.

Yet I need to leave you within this walls..

I used to wait for the sun to come back for me.
I used to shine for his whispering words.
I had forgotten that he only chased the moon-
Whose night and starlight mesmerized him till noon-
I dreamt you would choose me over her, over everyone.
How could I ever believe that ?
Oh Darling, please go.
You don't get to ignore the stars.
While you chase your moon, thousands will sing me their tunes.
I am the sparkle in this universe.
I am this universe.
Sadly, you cant seem to notice.
You hurt my pride.
Oh well, go chase your cheesy moon

undercover,broken neck,
‎Charlie horse here,
‎from your bones to your sweat,
‎they will all see fear
‎all and all,we all see,
‎all seeing eye your peers,
‎forbidden even for you eyes, two times
the surprise,
We all gotta live in this crule society,
Learning all its secrets like a hive,
can't be hiding bee,
Consuming so much dumb **** in this
world through memory,
But common sense is common sense,
Ain't no conspiracies,
Blind to the fact , when the,
Vultures starts attacking , and they,
Drive the beast up and down every coast.
Love to sway the weak and break the strong,
Time is on our side , we'll move on,
Watch your **** back cause they do the
most.
