This is something I learned:
The stars are farther than they seem to be.
The coldest among the stars are red.
The stars look stationary, but they are not.
They move slowly away from each other.
Most of them separating, slowly into transparency.

We were the same way.
Too close for comfort and disappearing suddenly.
We were undeniably intense and erratic.
Our souls often orbit around ourselves.
Constantly pulling and pushing,
releasing and grasping.
It could be the cause for eternal destruction.

And yet with it,
We could collide, make things significant.
We made a space.

But even with these, you were the cause of my confusion.
It was as if I missed the equation
or lost the connection
between humanity and belief.

To this day, I do not know the capability of your love.

You had no consistency.
No gravity to hold us steady.
You choose to drain out.

And despite this,
I remain here alongside you.
As the moon settles where it is,
I am in proximity of you, always.

It’s so weird because you’re someone else’s
You’re not mine
Not in the slightest
And I miss you so much

I want to make you laugh
I want to hear your laugh again

I sat in my car
Wanting to leave
But just for a minute
I put on a song to make me cry
And I shed a tear
A stupid tear
For moving forward
For not being the person
You wanted me to be
So I cried
And let my tears match the rain
Pattering on my windshield.

"Move on"

All we can do is

Say

We're fine

Even if we're not okay

It's not good

Keep lying

We can't

Snap out of it

It's a bad habit

Can't get rid of it

But you

Keep trying

Keep going

Just stop and

Look around

No one's there

Don't think that

They'll be there for you.

This took way too long to write... however, I think the results were well worth it!!!

one compassionate step
at a time
i barely move
my fault
People told me
I should write a poetry,
A happy one,
When I am feeling blue

I have been writing
For so very long,
And I'm still crying,
trying helplessly

Tell me what MUST I do?

On these quiet days?
When moon shines down?
When souls all embrace?
So silently

I hope
The rain will wash away
All these words,
Provoked ire from these pains,
That my heart can't take

Set me free..
