Just because you dont see any effort,
Doesnt mean its not there.
Im trying, I really am. And they always seem to ignore that part, but never the mistakes.

Maybe I'm foolish
To trust the excuse
"I'm only human"
Just defies the truth

As we grow older we start to learn,
We start to see things more clearly,
The more we suffer,
The more we learn if we're paying attention,
Lessons are taught if you're willing to learn,
Get outside your pride and get in your maturity.

As a young man I made many mistakes,
Wasn't the best example as the oldest,
When I had family,
Now I don't have family,
They're dead and gone,
No longer of existence.

All we can do is move forward,
And focus on what's important,
Not ponder on what has already taken place,
Don't lose sleep over things or people,
That aren't worth the stress,
Truth be told don't stress over anything.

Your life is more important,
Your existence is more valuable,
We put too much energy into things,
That we shouldn't,
Let's focus on what focuses on us.

We all make mistakes but don't let them define you,
Let those mistakes open your eyes,
Let those mistakes show you the right way,
You've done wrong now you can do right,
Let it go and let them go.
Don't Let Those Mistakes Define You. We're all Humans.

You told me about your abandonment issues and how I contributed to them before. This time I remembered not to make the same mistake. I reached out for you, but you smacked my hand away. I did it again and again so you know I cared, but I became the pest. The burden you wanted to let go. Now you and I are the same. I was abandoned.
I have not forgotten you
I could never forget the ocean
If you are the ocean
I am the skeleton lying on the bottom
I am the lifeless mess
Broken next to a love boat ship wreck
I am drowned and crowned in shame
Buried in the consequence of all of my mistakes
I have not forgotten you
Your ocean voice is clear in my mind
I only have one question
Have you left the corpse of my love behind?
i only have one question

What is our society if not a copycat catastrophe
A cold-hearted calamity of blind hindsight
Severed chains reforged in the flames of minimum wage
          How we herald the heretic

Free is the slave who detaches their arms and legs
          To gift kings their reign
Jeweled towers of bone reach to the sky
And devour the progress of our connective open roads

What is prosperity absent a shared purpose
Like a brain held apart from its own heart
Human history imprisoned on a page
Ink-stained chronicle of our original sin

Thinking we can get where were going
By forgetting all we have been
Each obstacle a handcrafted impediment
          Dinosaur dynasty doomed to irrelevance
Stop a second, and take a look around. Our disparate morality slowly washing beneath the waves. When will we understand the meaning of humanity?

Choose a wrong route in life?
Mad at the wrong decision?
Blamed yourself for it?
Regretted everything you have done?

Think again...

You cant change what you had thought at that particular time.
Mistakes are made for a better success
Don't blame yourself for making the mistake
Praise yourself for realizing it and choosing to change

Who you are today is because of what you have done in the past
Be glad you have learnt from it.
I know its hard to forget but as long as you forgive yourself forgetting is easier...
That one wilting rose in a blooming batch
That one wrong stroke in a masterpiece
That one broken pixel in your screen
That one sour grape in a bunch of sweet ones
That one useless child
That useless child, with no worth to this family

In the night, I pretend to feel warmth
of your body and hands, big and strong,
wishing not to wake up, not to feel
this cold absence of you (too real).
I escape to the fantasy—
—stop,
loose myself in the ecstasy—
—don't!
Would you think of me less if you knew
that I wish to not see morning dew?
But the sun will come out anyway,
painting all of my dreams with cold grey...
After making another mistake,
I sit here, on our bed, wide awake.
Slender body beside is not yours.
I'm not fooled: It's not love – it's remorse.

Here, I crumble in this morning light,
feeling all the effects of last night.
He'll wake up and pick up all his stuff,
look at me and breathe out: "that's enough."
He will leave; there isn't much I can give
to him now, as your absence I grieve.
One day, maybe, I'll see him for him,
Embrace on purpose — not on a whim.
Would you deem me a cheat if I flee
to his arms and pretend to be free
from this loss, maybe learning to heal?
Would you blame me for wanting to feel
his—another man's—warmth in our bed
that hasn't been warm at all since you left?
about grief and loosing yourself in the arms of another man
