On the other side of the tracks, you smiled.
My train arrived before i could return the gesture.
I decided to stand by and just wait for another.
To see your face once more before we part ways again.
But the moment the train moved, yours arrived.
And you, you took the train and i missed mine.
All for the sake of you, here i am waiting again.

It was a simple number that meant something to you
And I admired that
You memorized it and it was yours everyday
May 12
You didn't text
You didn't call
You knew
You had to know it was part of our everyday routine
The one person I wanted a birthday wish from
I constantly checked my phone
And I was constantly let down
It hurt me even though I'm the reason we ended
A simple happy birthday

Balloons filled with sadness
Cake made with heartbreak

Forgotten?
Is what I'll be tomorrow
A faded memory in the back of your mind
A distant echo in your dreams
Too far away
Never here to stay
We knew it from the start
Every second passed is a missed opportunity
The things we never did
An never dared to say
We missed our window
We missed our chance
The door was wide open
But I let you in
Gave you the world
Made you my world
And you let me go.
//you did\\

I traveled to a city where the buildings kissed the clouds and the streets were so loud I couldn't even think
but in the midst of all of the beautiful chaos I still managed to think of you
we weren't even talking at the time and I thought of you
I thought of how you'd admire the city with your excited eyes and squeeze my hand every time something caught your interest
I thought of how we'd walk the streets and parks for hours and just talk about every little thing
I thought of how we'd lie awake at 4am whispering sweet sleepy words
I thought of how I wished you were mine
I was in the middle of such a beautiful city
everything was so new to me
and all I wanted to do
was share it with you

Whenever I cry, a part of me rejoices;
A fragment which knows that to feel,
Keeps me grounded, makes things real,
And loves all my inner voices.

When I cry it is openly and proudly,
Though not in search for sympathy,
Or in hopes someone will comfort me,
And certainly never loudly.

When I cry it is for me, and me alone,
I have lost the gift of weeping once before,
And- having missed it- know that there is more,
To grieve once it has gone.

When you were a form upon the image of
my reflections, I never looked into the mirror
seeing what was fading within the moments of
your fluttering wings silent in the breeze/

I held that last moment like a breath never
wanting to expel the words of what were
needed. I could not sew then on a memory,
as they were already fraying on the sides.

She was but a sunrise a beauty that would
have shined upon you, lighting up those
precious  moments before you were like
a sunset never to rise again.

                                      She misses you mum.
                                             Nanny she knows your gone...
My mother never got to see her granddaughter she died 1 month after she was born

I didn’t know
When you would show
Your smiling face to me.

Time went on
Now you're gone,
I should’ve shone my smile on thee.

You’ll never know
How far we’d go
And now we’ll never see.

Why did I wait
Loneliness is poor bait
So much relies on timing.
So much of love is timing. Don't wait, or you'll miss your chance.
