not everyone will truly understand
everything you have to offer -

and that's okay.

you're an anagram;
only a selected few get to know the real you -

the perfected and improving sides
to a complex, yet beautiful masterpiece.

i'm not quite sure how i feel about this.

I’m Me
Simply leaving
These two words
Seems
As if either denying
Or insisting the fact
Why
Do I do what I do
Is it because
I have a fantasy complex and believe each thing I do
Has some mysterious other purpose
A careless
Flick off he brush
In actuality is a piece of a
Masterpiece

How best do you say LOVE IS BLIND
How best do you express it?

Is it to you part of the puzzle that completes the picture
Dull, Bright colors that makes you appreciate
the pain
the hurt
the love
the smiles.....

How best do you say LOVE IS BLIND
How best do you express it?

Do you break into a brief giggle

IMPERFECTIONS.
ACCEPTANCE.

How does one accept your imperfections and love you
How does one oversee your humiliating form and call you a MASTERPIECE.
His universe.

LOVE IS BLIND.
What price would you have to pay to be loved, if it wasn't?

How best do you say LOVE IS BLIND
How best do you express it?

LOVE IS BLIND.
I fell into your arms and chose to ignore the brewing storm
I had nothing to hold onto
You broke me. Once. Twice.
I love you.

So should i leave because you torture me
or
Should i stay because you chose to accept me
inverse conspiracy. an idea that bad may be for a good reason. love is blind has been a phrase to refer only to the pain it comes with choosing to oversee our loved one's flaws.

We always talks about putting our broken pieces back together
Or we speak of mending another with tape and glue
Like stitches that won't undo
But putting the pieces back together wont make them new
Why don't we ever think about picking up each others broken parts
And placing them where ours once were
Instead of fixing a puzzle with missing pieces
Why don't we become art
And fill each other with beautiful parts?

All that you find broken about yourself
All that I find rotten within my hollow shell
Are colorful pieces to complete a work of art
If you take some of me and make it beautiful
Then perhaps one day I too could see the beauty I betray
I'll do the same for you as I collect these magnificent additions
To the masterpiece that I make of myself
One day we will become Mona Lisa and The Starry Night
Not only will we be the art we will become the artists
As grand as DaVinci, as unique as Van Gogh
We will fill this world with our broken art
And make others learn that there is beauty in every splintered part

If I comment
Three hearts beneath your poem
It means that
I love love love your work

Sometimes I have too much to say
Or nothing to say at all
But I love to appreciate beautiful words
Because beautiful words should be appreciated

I love when my words mean something
To you reading
And a lot of your words mean something to me too
So I put it all into these
Three little hearts

❤❤❤

Whether your poetry is from a dark place
Or from a light heart
Whether something bad happened
Or something good started
If you shared it
And I saw it
And appreciate it
You'll find three little hearts
Beside my name
Beneath your work
In a format like this -

Rahama Abdulkadri ❤❤❤.
I mean it though. If you find my three hearts, then I truly love your work. There are so many great poems out there, expressing so many feelings and I don't know where to start from sometimes or what to say so this is my way.

lies trickle like honey
from his lips
glistening sticky and sweet

his words drip and glue
to my skin
desperately clinging
wanting to become a part of me

each word glows red
as i am branded
i walk in a ruby aroma
spiced with anger and hate

invisible to all
but not to me
i become art
a tangled masterpiece
in my own forever

I look back.
What a magnificent sight!
The colourful journey
of my life.
If I died right now,
I would die in awe
of the story I am in.
Couldn't ask for more.
This whole thing
has been a miracle.
A masterpiece of God,
his artwork so lyrical.
I thank you right now,
for the whole world to see.
It's your breathe of life
that has enabled me
to be me.

you will be poetry wrapped in skin.
they will melt under your faded gaze.
the spaces between your lungs will be explored.
they will fall in love with the darkness behind your lips.
they will live in the familiarity of your movements.
i will have stripped you of everything that made you the same.
you will be nothing like the person before, for now you are art.
you are simply the words penned onto your bones.
you are a masterpiece in human form.
you made me write, and i made you beautiful.
when we are done, you are perfect.
you are poetry wrapped in skin when i am done.
when i am finished, you will be one of two things.
you will be broken, or you will be beauty.
i cannot let you be both.
