If I shot at a number line,
The chance of hitting it exactly would be 0,
Because a line made only of points has no width,
And points themselves have no size.

So it is impossible to pick a specific point.

So if I had, or did, shoot my shot,
I’d have no chance,
Because she is only his,
And he is hers.

So it is impossible to shoot my shot at her.
Yavuz 17h
Sitting all alone again in the dark,
sometimes you prefer it this way,
sometimes you desire vicinity,
in a way you never felt before.

What is this sorcery?
What is this madness that flows through you like nothingness?
Devotion, attachment,
yet there is no retort.

Even the sky above the grimly desert would bow to you, cry to you,
could not reciprocate.
All that's left is the withering rose at road's end.

Why must it be this trail?
You burn, you freeze, you flourish
no matter the result,
as notoriety will be immortalized,
upon this cursed and blessed land.

Please let me partake in your eyes' gaze,
as they are earth's portal straight to heaven.
Give me a reason not to fall for your caring being
and I will maturely accept.

Even the birds on mother nature's arm call your delightful name,
but you always turn your cold back on them,
not appreciating the effort they are putting into it,
and the honesty they represent.

When I planted that humble rose on roads' end among the desert,
sprouting the way it never did back then,
I'll wait for you to greet it,
when my love is ready to be claimed.

Tell me why you left me here to rot,
the hole in my heart stretching out to the sea’s surface,
veiling a silk-made sun.

I’ve been anticipating your return by the shore across the nameless sea,
but when even the fog’s hive dissipated,
I could not bless my very eyes with your expected arrival.

My fingers trembling, turning numb from the chilly wind,
all blood within slowing down,
yet whenever I think of you, my fervent passion’s rising.

Now, truth be told, the draining cold gets the better of me,
the sheer heated thought of you dealing with the raging death battle,
wishing you would find me in all this unbearable mess.

If only you came sooner.

Venom creeping across the surface,
enveloping the darkest spots of my feet,
wishing it'd be time to make you cleanse me,
wherever you might be.

They say the greater you rise, the harder you break — is that the shape of happiness fading?

The sky is blue, the grass is green,
yet my eyes are red,
wondering where my yellow is,
for I want to experience the peaceful sunset at last.
Yavuz 17h
Dread seizing in my head,
the bed calling for our name,
I don't want to leave,
this place where I'm still with you.

Flickering candle lights guiding me to your watchful patch,
such eye candy enlightening the fabric of my skin,
sharing a cigarette with your delightful lips,
wishing it were mine instead.

Such strange curiosities unveiling before my gaze,
lingering long enough for you to notice,
granting me a spine-chilling smile,
turning my admiration into timeless stone.
Rarely would I believe in stars connecting souls
Or that we could come together sure enough if we would align goals
That a red thread brings strangers together
And that your course of life cannot chance no matter what, or whether
You think you're alone

That you stare at the same night sky, somewhere out there
That love sees us through, even if we don't know where
Or who the other is
That this is what love is
It's precipice

That you count on a map from province to province
Will the hobby bring either prominence?
That even underneath the same night sky
We could think, wonder cry
If souls find love even when their bodies die

That skies open, that rain falls down on the same earth
That since birth, it was predestined souls will meet

That the theory states, that somewhere out there, if it was love, then said souls will come to meet for the first time, or even once more
Regardless of goals, of cares or hate

Cause somewhere out there, a beautiful soul owns your name, your likeness, and it wouldn't be the same
If I never knew, you were somewhere out there
A poem based on the disney song from An American Tail, one of my all time favorite tracks growing up.
Maybe if I had looked for you,
Thought this through,
You´d have come by,
I´d have caught your eye,
You´d come around-
Finally we´d be bound:
A heap of cold bones,
You´d find headstones,
My flesh so long rotten,
Just like always forgotten.
