Leo Letters Feb 2015
I am a raging fire on the inside and what the
world only sees, a wisp of smoke
emanating through me. Lightning, thunder
crackling on my skin I carve history on streets.
Sneaking quiet tender as a beast,
people bow down to the tremble I speak.

My hair is a string of storm, raising up in
the smell of abhor.  My flesh runs in a fire of lava and gold
Fresh and real, like a snake I peel off my skin. Through the ashes I am reborn
I stir and devour men with my breath of smoke
Tingling, Fleeting like bright sun glow, I
I am the revelation of today’s tomorrow.

Scare, beware my lips a poison of reality
Drunk to the liquor of skulls, I am flexed
my body taken from an Agate stone
Sinister smile I am a black onyx erratic and wild
to every screech I keep. My finger on people’s lips
Be still I come revolting crackers in my head

I am the child of love, born with a stone in my bed.
Come all you who dare, eyes like a cat,
I will slit you naked with a stare
I run the city wild, shouting the ecstasy burning beating in my head
those who are laughing think I’m in despair.
Shiver, I fly high, swiftly like a storm, I greet people with a blow.

This is my confession, the true disclosure of lady leo limbo
I am a magic dynamo, those who cut will bleed and disappear in my timid ****.
Walk, fly, run with me I’ll tie you in my body, those who whisper my name
I’ll build you a cage and and in my presence, I’ll slowly poison your veins.
Haven’t they told you of my stories,
I am a natural force of misery masked in smooth ivory.
The great fire I hold cuts swifter than a sword.

" I love your positive outlook on life. It's like you're never
depressed. Or at least
I wouldn't think so,"  you tell me.
Maybe that's why DeCaprio never won his Oscar;
they're  savin' 'em all for me.
oh no Jan 2015
you took the fight right out of me
we were meant for each other, or something
like (helen and achilles, like) achilles and his heel
in the wake of you (bright eyes, bright eyes)
I'm cut off at the knees
remember what you stole from me? (remember
what we loved?)
we were lights in the dark, or something
like glow worms, (like the stars, the stars)
we were beautiful, or something (good)
in the wake of you, my love,
my love
I can feel your heart in mine
you grew the moon right out of me
when I forget you, call me up
we were star-crossed, lost, or something
I've always loved you (always will)
you bit me to my core
when I forget you, bring me back
I am (nothing without you)
better off
better off I can still feel you here
we were bombshells (prophets, gods)
we were (good) hearts, ******, or something
you tapped the (star)light out of me
I (will love you) always knew
fire signs

you did not shake or shiver when the
hunter grabbed you by the throat and
tried to tear your skin off head to toe.
no one respects a crying king.

once,
you ran across and through the
jungle and roared loud enough to shake
the galaxies above and down under.
there was no force strong enough to hold you down.

lover,
you think of your father when you think about
what it means to be a man and you
work your hands to the bone so your son
will think of you too
when he is running through the jungle
yelling at the moon.

my lion.
you did not shake or shiver when the
hunter dug his fingertips underneath your ribs
to laugh and see if he could do it.
you didn’t flinch when he pulled out the
incissor and cut down
every single one of your claws

no.
armor does not make a soldier
and a crown does not make a king.
the hunter skinned you head to toe,
my lion
and you never made a peep.

We're all parched.

In a circle we sip
from the watering hole,
all sides, another animal
most of them pay me no mind

but the lion stares at me
from across the rain,

his whiskers brush
the surface —
I respect you.

He laps up his drink,
and with a flick of his tail,
bids farewell to good company.

I look down into the ripples,
formed from the mouths of
many thirsty beasts,
and I look up into my weary eyes.

I am grateful to be alive.

Kissed by rippling lips,
myself I drink deeply

Because this
may be the last time
I return to quench my thirst.

I wipe the drips from my lips,
and look down where they rippled

Lion smiles up.
"It's good to see you."

I ate a man once .

First I caught him by the eyes ,
Plucked those souls out and called em mine .
Why ?
Cause surprise ,
There was me reflected back in perfect symmetry
Pawing him
Back and forth
Called him closer and
Swatted him up .
Nibbled the fingers who reached to stroke my mane .
But **** ,
This prey loved pleasure and pain .
All I did was dpi and sway and stalk
Purring the sweetest talk
He learned the rules
Only watch
So I could gaze
At my shaking prey ;
As he swear and want .
I licked my canines
Wiggling in secret heat
At all the desire done by little ole me .
Then I pounced
Took him down
Cracked open his chest
And cleaned him out
Plucked out those electric strings
Cause under was the sweetest meat .
It beat .
Slightly torn
I bit , bitter sweet .
To my stomach it sank
Growling as it turned to stone .
Heavy lead , love , & bone .
Gasping as it poisoned as
His souls shone/shown
I made it run in his
Every vein
With my deadly game of
Pleasure and pain .
As he slipped away ,
His weakness kept at bay .
With a smile .
Every ******* day .  ™

The grass, like green hair, stands up on end with
    anticipation,
rising through the snow that has fallen
    like dove feathers.
Leo will be coming soon.

I wish You'd love me.
Your attention I desire.
The person you are I admire.
I cannot lose myself
For You.

You're my piece of art.
I am dying inside,
Containing my joyful feeling
Of Your perfection,
You ask me,
'Why are you looking at me like this?'

Oh Water-bearer
let her sit at your feet
the lion is thirsty
the ****** is sweet

Pet her and love her
let your wonders be shown
for the lion is hungry
and the ****** unknown

Oh Water-bearer
your fountains surrender
let the lion lap your waters
and the ****** bath in your splendor
