Caterpillars eat leaves
Humans ate the whole world
Turning God’s oasis into a feast

His beloved beauty's leaf
got flown away and one by one
priceless leaves fell of
her tree of life
Lovers hidden treasure loot
Mandrake fertile root
blowing traveler obvolute
to far away strange land route
dragged by passer by deceitul dustiest ever contaminant
wirl-wind devil geek.

Still fertil twigs sacred grow
with green leaf shoots aknew
for the beauty of creation
must contine to amaze
it's infinite divine grace
E.T. maker mine.

Mandrake plant has a forked fleshy root that supposedly resembles the human form formerly widely used in medicine and magic, allegedly shrieking when pulled from the ground.

My veins the roots,
            my mind
the tree,
       growing stronger
over time..
              rings of contemplation
show where I came from.

         Imagination are the
leaves that flourish in
           rainbow hues.

And every leaf that falls
is but a reflection that doesn't
                                          look back...

But as it falls,
                         Its nourishment
for the ideas that may still be a
             leaf growing next fall..

I wanted you to be my Autumn leaf.
Glittering gold hiding beneath.
Smiling at you, while getting cinnamon out of my teeth.
Sun warm,
cool breeze.
Hold my hand as we walk through crunchy leaves.

I'm
falling from the World
like
falling from a tree -

Crashing
on the ground,
But still
on my feet.

A dry leaf fall..
The wind blew it away...
So far, it flies..
Carrying wounds that she holds...
Leaving the twig in silence...
May God always protect all human on earth

Leaf Fall
by Michael R. Burch

Whatever winds encountered soon resolved
to swirling fragments, till chaotic heaps
of leaves lay pulsing by the backyard wall.
In lieu of rakes, our fingers sorted each
dry leaf into its place and built a high,
soft bastion against earth's gravitron—
a patchwork quilt, a trampoline, a bright
impediment to fling ourselves upon.

And nothing in our laughter as we fell
into those leaves was like the autumn's cry
of also falling. Nothing meant to die
could be so bright as we, so colorful—
clad in our plaids, oblivious to pain
we'd feel today, should we leaf-fall again.
