Take the trail,

footsteps in the mist of a thousand misheard voices

follow the singing memories as they fade around each corner

time has left you on this journey through the mountains of your life

you go ahead, rest for a bit

enjoy the breeze and the pretty yellow childhood flowers

for you the walking is done
I hope my last journey is like this

I forget what my face looks like
Because my face is always in the Facebooks,
Poking my head through other people's lives
Wishing I could be invited to.
I suffer from this curse
Of being picked last in everyone's mental gym class.
They normally pick the stronger ones,
the Foxier ones, the ones who wink at them
With quick glances across the gym.
We, my friends, are the easily forgotten ones.

i thought
so much
about it all
this and that
too many of this
too little of that
too many thoughts
and so little eyes
to see it all
unravel.
i need-
i want-
others to see
my random words
of nonsense..
to feel noticed
for my mind.
i think
i'm ready
to leave
my old thoughts here..
to create something better
somewhere else but here.
my last poem here..

Excuse me Miss
May I please have this last dance
Before your favourite song ends
We can take it slow
I will hold you close if you give me the chance
-
Excuse me Miss
May I please have this last dance
Pardon my stance
I'm not really good at romance
Practice makes perfect
But this is my only chance
-
Excuse me Miss
May I please have this last dance
Before your man comes
And I'll never get to see you again
You're looking for something different
I could tell when we both stole a glance
To be honest
You have me in a trance
I am yours
But only for one last dance

Grandmother's last day
will shine brighter than before
towards the window
where the flowers bloom with scents
where the fragrance follows her
First attempt at a tanka poem.

I realised onething, When i felt numbness, from within

Friendship grew more, With you, than i could think!

I know it hurts Cause the pain is too deep

But still, indeed You were, my only need!

Now that I'm done

Evrything is in the edd

I shall finish it forever

With a goodbye of the end!!
A wise pope once said
a man's ambition
must indeed be small
to write his name
upon a ******* wall

But for want of superstition
and tales told tall
I'll play that ancient game
....right after my last call

Preluding my expiration
just before the fall
I'll seek the Devil's fame
and inscribe that ***** stall

By hook, by crook,
or explosive indigestion
Every nook, every sideways look
shall bear my ugly shame
For what better eulogy book
than that old ******* wall
That great temple of the read

I found a penny face up.
I flicked it off because luck doesn't exist.
At least not for me.
I picked it up and turned it to tails.
If I can't get any luck no one else can.
People say misery loves company,
But I'm just tired of things working out for everyone else but me.
I think I'm last on everyones list.
I'm the pocket change in the bottom of a purse.
I'm the last resort,
When people are desperate for some change,
Turning their purses upside down,
Throwing couch cushions,
Hoping for some luck.
I'm a lot like a penny.
But if I were a penny I'd have tails on both sides.
**** pennies.

Sailing soft, frozen in time--
Sat on your chair where I could've sworn
I saw a past life regression flash along

Your face. Stuck there now,
I'm alone now and forever forth.
For years I stored half my cash into a box
without second thought
just to end up spending it all in six months.

that last crash erased all the academic pablum
that proved less required reading
  more distraction.

Just a border now,
head against an extending wall,
Witless and stonecold sober;

At ease with every unanswered craving
And coexisting with a life where nothing goes
   according to plan.
Trapezing the edge of a rolling dice waiting to be flattened. I'm properly done writing poetry,no more energy or will. Wish you all luck over the coming years, whether you're in a good spot or your lowest lows

you were my once in a lifetime
my charm sublime.

you didn't say goodbye,
but neither did i;

suddenly we went out of focus,
maybe that was the last of us.
