her hands
around
my shoulders

my body
quivering
consternations

her voice
crooning tunes
that're bolder

asking me
to wake up,

it's
just a bad
d r e a m

but tell me
what
rise and shine
is

in a
world
of
*fall and fail

Day after day it seems as if I'm running in place. Stuck in this labyrinth. There's no way out. It's a never ending maze with dead ends around each corner. I'm searching in the maze, but for what? Something nonexistent? I pause and start to look deep into my soul for this thing. What do I see? Empty. Dark. Nothing. This thing is not concrete. Joy. It is joy. Happiness. Peace. Serenity.

I / Before

I moved slowly,
always wanting to reach
the end of the narrow roads.

I found deceptions and satisfactions;
more deceptions than satisfactions
and more plurals than singulars.

I coveted everything
beyond these high walls,
even so I didn't rush my life.

I believed in other people's beliefs
and I hoped which from me
the time to slip away... killing me, then.

II / During

However, neither it I could get.
I followed so many ways
and neither they could help me.

Ocasionally I sighted daisies
blossoming on the walls
and among the tiles of the streets.

Sighting so many daisies was madness.
Well, to hell with sanity!
And what would be of life without its paradoxicality?

Much suffering for little time!
Little contemplation for much beauty!
Much anguishe for little heart!

III / After*

Oh, the other side:
feared by a few,
coveted by others.

Although the labyrinth
seems infinite and sufferable,
we can find the exit together.

The question is not how we can get out,
reaching, at last, the afterlife;
and yes, how we can end with so much suffering.

To start over, we must wake up!
To wake up, we must exist!
And like this, life will wait for us!

Left, right, straight ahead.
You are in the Labyrinth.
They want you. They will get you.
Their ice cold eyes are haunting you.

Blacker than the darkness clears a shadow every light.
Can you feel the hands reaching out for you?
They have implanted themselves into your head.
You're crawling away. But even if you would run..

Left, right, straight ahead. You are in the Labyrinth.
You can keep crawling.. lurching.. running away..
But deep down inside you already know

Nobody will ever see you again.
Nowhere are you really safe.
Never will you get out of here.

You tied me up in this bed of yours,

your pile of books, your labyrinth

I tried to escape, but the rope only cuts in.

Deeper and deeper as my tears get sweeter and sweeter

I kissed you once on your lips

twice on your wounded soul

And you give me the carnal embrace.

Have we yet captured the schemes of our misfortune
A solace granted to us, picketed by our tedious hangups
Oh lost have we been
Wondering the labyrinths halls

Each time we find our steps take us no further
Our stagger is broken
By a light projecting life outside the hallways walls
While envy flaunts it's final solutions
In loo of a future we are attempting to grasp
Our steps move us further once again

Now, just as forgotten times before
Do I see that the peaces of our scheme
Are collected gradually over time
and my mind is the cage for their housing

The fragments are fluid and known
To our past selves on a distant day
But now I live life again from a stance of their recall
While at the same time tempted
To step back to the labyrinths halls
