the cold crawling of a sharp knife,
tasting your blood bitter than truth,
yet
sweeter than sin,
whispering gently
amen.

ripping apart your look for tomorrow
filling your eyes with glasses of sorrow
how does it feel,
ending it all at once,
and yet painting your beliefs
with the color of the blood you bleed?

but don’t worry one stab cannot be that bad,
please, don’t be mad,
pull yourself together and
the warmth inside your soul
may survive;

it could.

but the knife fell again,
not intentional,
a small mistake,
carving a name
on the back of your
heart,

did anyone survive?
you stabbed my love for you.

Dragging a bad situation
is like being stabbed in the middle of your collar bones
and slowly sliding it down your chest...

Hidden in the shadows
Weapons at his side
He has her sent
And he follows
Silently he stalks
He moves swiftly across the floor
Without a flinch
There's a knife through her heart
she tries to look at him before her last breath
though there is no one in the room anymore
I got the inspiration for this poem from a movie I watched

Oh that bitter sweet mix of remorse and aspirations
Bring happiness beyond my wildest imaginations,
But thus I sink the dagger deeper into my chest
For I can't be forgiven... unless

Unless I welcome the dirk to use my carmine ink
I invite, no demand
That I carve myself
By MY hand.
So the world knows
The monster that I am.

But I cower behind my sleeves and laughter
So THEY don't know the disaster
Of what I fancy. What I'm after

That I long for the blade.
That I yearn for the pain.

But they still talk of hope
What an absolute joke
That "every cloud
has a silver lining."
Tell that
To my blood stained razor blades
leave my wrists crying.
Trigger warning. I write bad things.

She stabbed my heart
With a sharp knife
And wonders why I smile

She didn’t  know that
I feel her feelings
Through the pain I get

Tears fell from her eyes
The knife was still in my heart
And still I held her tightly
In my arms.

Valleys cut deep
across the pale planes
and shimmering sand
A lamb is
lost, drifting over the dunes
A marigold petal floats to the ground
wilting in the smouldering wind

"Sacrifice" they whisper,
As a blistering blade
Dances across
your skin.

Up until now it seemed really difficult to condense my ideas into fewer lines, but after reading my original notes for this poem, I realised I stopped liking it after the first two stanzas haha. Also, I finally wrote one without having the title be the last line. Big milestone right there.
