Once upon a time
In a kingdom far away
Lived a prince
With a parrot
That could never say nay

The prince was as fair
And as good and true
That he bore a mirror
On his shiny shoe

The king was old
And not that bright
My true son I am old
you are always right

Our land is no longer
As fair as should be
You must slay the dragon
From across the sea

Make my kingdom
great again
Was his dying word

The righteous prince
that was always true
Got his sword and his shield
and his shiny shoe

Ride forth into the land
He said to his nobel steed
For the holy truth
And the pious deed

He came across
a crouching man
With a cart full of books
in his nobel lands

Thy be a wizard I say
if mine eye is true
Deceitful words on parchment
carried by thy hans

My lord
who is just and true
This is but litter
to burn for my evening stew

The prince was glad
he did not like books
What have you cooking, he said
he was hungry by the looks

Oh, but lord
I am but a humble serve
But to the princ surprise
He was undeterred

This stew was of such a peculiar making
It had everything a heart could desire
And indeed it was a stew of marbles
That could build an empire

Come ride with me
this is my will as ever before
And the man-wizard
Bowed right down to the floor

Make my kingdom
great again
Was his dying word

Then it was not long
as you might say
They came upon a man
as pale as the day

In his cart you know
as you might have guessed
portraits of princes and princesses
They were quite underdressed

What heresy is this
As you well understand
the prince exclaimed
I am the only prince of this god given land

My lord with your inspection
This is but lost souls
Traped in their own reflection
They see only themselves

But in time they will only see you
If it be your wish
I will make it true
my just lord and fair prince

The prince was glad
He did not approve of false idols
So he quickly bestowed the man
With lands and titles

Let me put the lords grace
upon the land
And he bid the pale man follow
So to take a stand

Make my kingdom
great again
Was hid dying words

And low and behold
soon again turning mellow
They came to see
this third odd fellow

With a cart full of pumpkin
I care not for this
It has to be great
It has to be spectacular

But the odd man say
My good prince look
This is no pumpkin
thy eyes have mistook

He drew out his wand and
biffe-dee-baffe-dee-boo

A golden carriage
You see
Will take you wherever
you need to be

You need think no more
Just relax your mind, it is so
No tedious decision upon
Where you want to go

I say let's go
beyond the heavens
To a land with red
and fruitful soil

What is this mystical land away
I need a place
To put bad people
That doesn't understand my greatness, to stay

Dark men
Eating cats and dogs
And obstinate witches with crooked noses
Eating squirrel and frogs

Make my kingdom
great again
Was hid dying words

....Now I am growing tiresome
my children
Your old grandpar say....

Oh now, you say that
the parrot I have forgotten
But mind you there was not only one
No it was not rotten

There was a whole lot
A choir of cockatoo
And as everyone knows
A whole lot mean true

this was indeed pleasing
for our dear prince delight
that he was the best
at every given plight

That all loved him
who was right of mind
Who was good
Not mad nor blind

Chill of a northern town —
rows of orange streetlights pour,
light on red brick walls.

Do you recall when we were one?
Because it's the only thing what's been on my mind.
Texting till 4 am,you're laughing
Saying time flies when you're shining.

We even dreamt of ruling this town,
Generous king you were, handed me the crown
All of that, just for me to get left behind.
You have a new queen now,I must stay strong,
But tell me,was it fair to string me along?
Someone who made you believe you two were one may not act like that after a while.Just so you remember to complete yourself first.
May a warm summer wind soon blow your way,
Wishing you good, luck fortune, and good day,
You now a part of the kingdom of heaven,
What a wonderful place to go and live in.

For there will be all your wildest dreams,
Nothing you thought you would ever believe.
And now that you will finally receive,
The Wonderful Kingdom of Heaven.

I randomly made this up one day. There’s no deeper meaning, it just came to me and I thought it sounded nice, so I wrote it down.
If you stand strongly with and for Liberty
I will fearlessly join you
If you stand firmly for Freedom
I will cheer the noble gestures of your kingdom
If you stand enthusiastically for Equality
I will ecstatically stand with you too
If you stand for good democracy
I will help you spread the seeds of Love
I will happily clap when the doves are hovering above
If you stand solidly for fair and equal justice
I will help you ring the bells of peace
I will fervently pray for you all the time
I will sporadically listen to the tintinnabulation of the chime
Brothers and sisters, I have tears of hope in my eyes today
Otherwise
My pen is able and ready amidst the fray
And it won’t be so wise
Because I love my fellow human beings, our people
Who are black, red, white, yellow and purple.

P.S. This poem is dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and to our brothers and sisters.

In the quiet of our hearts, we find A kingdom vast, serene, and kind.
No need to search the skies above, For within us dwells the light of love.
In every breath, in every thought, The presence of the divine is sought.
With open hearts and spirits free, We embrace the truth of eternity.
So let us walk with grace and peace, And let our inner light increase.
For in the kingdom of our soul, We find the path that makes us whole.
Don't think
Or worry of
Only material things.
Ask God's kingdom and righteousness.
So that
All good things will be given to
You, this is the promise.
For you and me
By God
Matthew 6:31-33

The king sat upon his throne
Announcing ideas in the gentlest of tone

The people disagreed, and they fought back
But aggression was something the king had lacked

They rioted with pitchforks and torches
The king saw them yell out each night on their porches

And eventually, they set the castle ablaze
The king fled without even being fazed

He found the kindest people under the trees
The opportunity to build a new kingdom he had to seize

The palace could prosper with the right support
Unlike the old one, which could only distort

So he built with the people, leaving his mark
Until his eyesight started to go dark

He woke up in his old, burning palace again
Surrounding by the sound of illogical, angry men

He realized his prosperous castle was only a desire
“It was merely a dream,” he thought, as his skin lit on fire.

A boldened king
Shall take his stand
In a kingdom to be broken.
The fate holds true
For whistling winds’
Prophecy was spoken.
The southern prince
Will turn to face
The fort of his own land.
Though he stood tall
He’d surely fall
And perish by Earth’s hand.
In his absence
His place is claimed
As to the Earth he’s bound.
And much like his kingdom’s future,
True,
His body shant be found.

There was a princess
lost in and dazed by springtime sweetness.
Picture perfect gowns and rolling meadows,
In her Kingdom
Spring went on and forever.
People wished they lived at such a place,
evergreen flowers and the youth of nature.
Wished they could experience it all.
But the princess was locked inside her palace,
woe the young woman couldn't touch the flowers.
She sat there in her gloomy chamber,
looking outside to the greenest grass.
She was sad and numb but she danced in her room,
wore spring gowns for there was spring at her heart.
She breathed in spring air from within the cold walls,
An ever longing desire in her eyes to touch the spring flowers.
Little does she know for she is spring Herself,
So she touches her heart.
Sometimes the answer lies within.
I love spring. When the season passes away, I feel sad. I realise there is joy to be found in other seasons of life as well.
