The small act of kindness is rewarded.
And you are always accorded.
God will recognise you for sure.
Yes, you belong to Christ, so pure.
With blessings you are awarded.

Giving water doesn't go unrecorded.
Cup of water you give will reassure.
By serving others you can ensure.
Act of Kindness

With strange thoughts, don't be diverted. Harmonise and be concorded
For plant growth, how do we use manure?
The same way, why don't I endure?
Let me try to be big-hearted.
Act of Kindness
Mark 9:41
Lee Jul 19
If I could sell a saved soul for a smile,
I’d surely sport the most stylish grin
But I don’t care if I do frown
As long as i get to see them win
"My God, I think, how are you healing me with only a smile?"
My heart breaks in the most beautiful way because you speak a thousand kind words, with only your smile....

This piece is more free verse, reflecting on how the kindness of others can be incredibly healing. Kindness has the power to heal years of wounds without the need for a single word.

A useless form of introspection
Supreme width with a lack of all depth
Feigning superiority while being ill tempered
Wielding as a bludgeon their empty philosophy
Despite it's weight it can break no wall down

It is defeated handily
By a sword without a blade
Taken down from it's height
Without firing a round

Struck by a simple kindness
Given to one in distress
Kindness is a light we share,
A gentle hand in times of need,
A quiet solace when hearts despair.

It blooms in moments small and rare,
A whispered word and a thoughtful deed,
A spark of love beyond compare.

In every soul, it finds its way,
A bridge to heal, a wound to mend,
A gift that brightens every day.
In this world where we all belong,
Kindness is what makes us strong.

A simple smile, a helping hand,
Can spread joy across the land.

When words are gentle and actions are kind,
Happiness we soon will find.

With a caring heart, a listening ear,
We make others feel valued, loved, and near.

It’s so easy to treat each person with respect,
In love and kindness, we all connect.

In every moment, big or small,
Kindness is the greatest gift of all.
In the depths of depression,
when the world feels heavy,
a small gesture,
a warm smile,
can lift the weight.

Offer a hand,
share a moment,
plant a seed of kindness
in someone else's heart.

In giving, we find light,
as the darkness loosens its grip,
and together,
we rise,
woven in the simple threads
of compassion.
I've found that when I'm feeling EXTREMELY depressed it really helps to first, list out loud 12 things I'm thankful for (anything from my bed, to my parents, friends, roof over my head...a person could list hundreds if you thought hard enough) also I try to think of something nice to do for someone. Anyone. I've found it sometimes more rewarding to anonymously bless someone. I dunno, if you can use these suggestions to your benefit, than please do...it seriously helps me, at least for a while, when I'm extremely low. 🤷
I thank God for continued healing.
I have had to yield and allow my body to endure the hurt, releasing my ego more times than I can remember.
Though I have been saved and revitalized countless times.
There is healing in this rain, and growth flourishes in his presence.
Joy flows through like water through a dam, released through prayer and faith.
God has never lost sight of me, even when I could no longer find myself.
No words can measure my thanks.
Still, I raise my hands in praise anyway.

I treat myself with a little more respect each day.
It's like stretching a muscle, a little more goes a long way. And consistency is key. Even if it's way out of the comfort zone, today I'd like to encourage you to take an act of respect and kindness towards yourself. It may be washing the dishes right after you ate, taking a bit longer outside just to breath or picking up some routine you've been neglecting lately. Whatever it is, you deserve the effort and time to make yourself feel good, seen and respected.
