When I was young
the lens to my eyes was stained in rainbows
the world was colourful and
life, a rainbow pie.

As I grow up,the stains wash off
and I realise,my lens was never colourful
for every time I awake, the hue is further from my sight
For every time I want a rainbow pie,
life reminds me I'm not yet there.
Live ,young and alive...don't let life happen to you...it happens for you
We saw each other for first time
Feels like this is not our first meet
We're so close like partners in crime
When we are walking in the streets

We are laughing at each other
Teasing about imperfections
Our status between me and her
Same vibes with nice conversation

She talks about her own story
And I would be great listener
Feels like I'm reading  history
And I'm the only one reader

I'm lucky that's all I can say
Coz I met this girl and so glad
This day is one of my best day
And the best date I've ever had
I wrote this poem for the girl that I love hehhehe hope you like it
COUNT
Count your age by friends not by years,

Count me together with them.

Count your happy memories  and leave behind the sad,

Count together those who loathe you but their hate results into goodness.

Count those who pretty calm you down when mad.

Count them that thinks you are mad at them but you're actually not.

Now count and know you not just your age but more.

Count families;

Friends all are part of your age.

Wishing you the best life can offer...
  HAPPY NEW AGE

Adeyi gracious mayomikun.
To every being born to this earth; ohh the miracles
Mystery sang its lullaby as my thoughts went dark as night.
Clouded with oblivion, I realized I was a mortal.

Eerie feeling lingers in the pit of my soul, as the earth run along even the sun picked it race.
In amazement I watched the enticing lie of the silent market.

The ray opened it eye and mine to reality, it was also accompanied with the breeze.
The wind was hot as the hades' dread to live caught my sight.

I was as slippery as an eel as perspiration rode down my back.
I gulped nervously for fear of humanity; the devil's angel. For their soul conceal, dread then in mind.

Now in solitude of nature I find peace, despite the raging soul, such a perfect dight.
The river dances as its depth the pebbles dived, twas at the earth's horizon, the sun blinked to set..

HEAVEN!! YET ON EARTH
Out of loneliness was it written.

Last Winter,
the coldest place to be
was perched upon that balcony,
testing the frigid air.
You could find me overlooking there.
Watching my breath linger, then fade,
the figures of people walking away.
Expanding with strides unbroken,
their anachronistic spots of motion.
Fervent still-lives swapping each second,
flashing, their haystack destinies beckon.
Each step they continue, each foot they shrink,
"tiny infinities" I like to think.
Again, my old listless demon calls,
and the day's porcelain sky begins its fall.
A thin coat, a chimeric chair,
you could find me overlooking there.
With hands loafing, catching snow,
I'm pretending I'm not below.
Written to unwind after a stressful day, thinking about willful ignorance and avoidance, and about how it's about time to grow up and stop doing all that.

As I ponder upon my life
I feel as though I'm trapped inside a book of science fiction
Deep down in my bleeding heart I hope its about a
fantasical expidition
But in reality,
all the pages therein
Are screaming of my affliction
I pray with all my soul and might that there will be a
miraculous transition

I know I am the author
and that I hold
the key to victory
But what becomes of the ending
We'll just have to see
I need to pen in an
overcoming battle
And set my future free
I need to set up the ending
And decide just who I am to be

With all these things in mind,
I still frantically flip
through all the pages
Knowing all the pain I've caused
And seeing my past rages
Seeing all the failures pass
As it comes and goes in stages
How can I conquer all of this
When Ive been a total waste of space for ages?

I cannot help but gaze upon the blank sheets that follow after
After all, this book is not sci fi and I wont let it become
a great disaster
I do however, have a hero
and that hero is my sister
Ill be a mighty warrior just like her and I'll become the victor

I look towards the ending with my inspiration right in tow
Knowing that ill overcome and that my strength will grow.
I see my hero overcome on a daily basis and this
hard fact I know.
So just like her, I'll fight this battle everyday even if the goings slow
Ill do my best and fight the fight
Take up my mighty pen of life and deal the final blow!
This one hits hard. Its one of my more self inspiring pieces. Its weird how I can write something that actually inspires myself. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! It actually really was inspired by my sister. We were talking earlier and she mentioned something about her life being like she was in a book. She knows I write alot and do poetry. So I said that that line could make a good poem. I told her to give me 30 minutes to write something using that line amd this is the result.

Depicting galaxies in my head
when i close my eyes

The visuals only i can see
though my eyes cannot see

The power of the mind
to paint pictures without pigment

My imagination running wild
no excuse not be creative today....

I feel inspired.
Inspired to write about the man in line who I do not know, but I do know.
Friends, strangers, & self.
So well acquainted as a seamless stich.
I smile.
Hand touches arm.
The endearing laugh of an unfamiliar sound, but I hear you so well.
Faces around turned and gauged in.
Gravitation pull, loneliness lost in the open.
Closed by the proximity of our spaces colliding.
Today, a stranger saved me at the sound of hello.
