It’s a topic close to my heart,
a constant in my weird mind,
since I remember I could think,
A constant wherever you go
from Shangri-la to Timbuktu.
A magical glue,
capable of binding the masses.
Here comes the question to ponder upon,
how can something that can bring people together,
motivate them to slit the throats of fellow earthly travellers?
WHY? I ask in bold,
you say your religion is perfect and the greatest
and proclaim me a non-believer
I ask you, dear sirs and madams,
how can violence ever be great?
how can division ever be great?
I have carried this burden way too long
and its time to spit it out
I may hurt a few people,
but truth only hurts the people,
with blinds over their eyes,
refusing to perceive the truth staring at their face.
Religion is a system,
a man-made device,
and anything made with thine hands
has thine flaws.
Every religion points us in the direction of the one,
Allah, Jesus, Krishna — the names are not the point
they could have been Mohammed, Sally, Rajesh for humanity’s sake!
The one thing I am sure of is a superior power,
To whom I look up to fill my soul with strength and peace,
whom I look up to in my darkest hours.
Stop burning and massacring each other,
under the commands of few mighty and wealthy,
who brainwash you and manipulate the flaws of the system.
Your religion is not superior nor is your God,
The God is one and you all are the members of different groups,
taking the journey to a common destination.
Don’t believe the sham of the religious cons
and let your soul lead the way to your destination.
My take on the religions of the world.

Your strength is something I've always admired
you probably don't hear this enough
but, you've always motivated and inspired me
to push through dark moments

Your light keeps me warm when my heart is racing
and your breath feeds me new beginnings
helps me back up after I've fallen

You're absolutely beautiful inside and out
and it makes me happy to call you a friend
If I'm lucky, one day we'll get to meet
until then, don't forget how extraordinary you are

Talented, raw, inspiring and strong
Sending you my love and happiness

You have me here always,
R
If this finds you, I hope you know how important you all are.

It was a little too late until I realized it was never about what I was eating...

But what was eating at me.
5 years from today still recovered! I still struggle, especially now after a recent trauma...but I have been staying strong all I can.
And its those moments of awakening in which inspired this simple excerpt that really have impacted me the most.

When I see,
I fall on my knee,
You inspire,
all I want to is admire,
you quench my fire,
I have no dire,
and I want to aspire,
to always be your squire.

So long ago was the wonder turned to real by the Eagle flying by.
A child in awe I watched that miracle outside of Earth's blue sky.

In grainy black and white the world united in an up turned gaze.
To dream a unified dream for all, in those long ago heroic days.

A dream for all of mankind and your words they called it so.
Joint in belief of great achievement of how far our species could go.

You carried the heroes of a decade that paved a road up to that day.
You caught the minds of others and set new heroes on their way.

There was Mike and Buzz and you and yet others there would be.
Who would follow that first footstep that you left upon the sea.
For all the things I have seen in my life never have I felt the world united and as inspired as it was on that day of July 1969.
We took a wrong step somewhere but it wasn't that day in the Sea of Tranquillity.

You
My pen etches Your name deeper within my heart. With each stroke the pages yell Your name into an oblivion.
But You.
You would never hear the cries that were crying out Your name. I show You my world and You can’t tell me Your favorite parts.
You witness the beat of my heart, but can’t rap the words to my song. I doubt that You care, and You just stare. I preach to the world, but You never saw me reach for Your hand. I shed a tear for Your sorrows, but You never cared about who You hurt.
I write this for You, and You could never see me mouth Your name.
But still, Your name resides on my heart. The black ink stained on the red surface, that has only seen pain, and shall hope the best for Your heart.
What I’ve been trying to say is, I loved You. You used to inspire love. But now I only hope You find it.
This was for,
You.
Dark demented young soul,,
fire consuming bright eyes,
traveling this broken road alone,
lost on a path hunting true devotion,

insanity coursing in these hollow veins,
walk with me to witness
a depraved mind running blind,
dividing lines blurring right or wrong,
only the wicked could live so long
in a journey so twisted,
yet reality shows me my true frailty
in one calamity,
true tragedy was my extremity,

In the end I'll load up this chamber,
finally lights out,
Solid stainless destroying empty sadness
with a cleansing clatter & flash,
one round to destroy
a sick Madness with a beautiful blast
These pages
of my life's stages
wilt & decay,
frail bones will rot
in our grave,
nothing is forever
ties and tongues severed,
fire fueled hearts change
as does the weather,
it's a harsh cold reality
time a commodity,

some say it's wasted youth
searching,

running through the pain
coping in my own lane
left  yearning..

snags in the road
destructive holds,
love’s sick tricks
ignorance
carries a death wish,
yet I'm glad to have her love
cause without it
Nightmares swarm
Casting shadows shaped
by karma’s forked tongue
