It is unfair
A barber's son should
Go with matted hair!

How come Ethiopia,
Africa's water tower,
Suffer for its crops
A timely reviving shower!

Present in the present is the presence of the present, which makes the present moment in time very much conspicuous by it’s presence.

Define what you want,
get into the insight of the things that need to be done,
thereafter start with the process of getting things done one by one.

Present in the present is the presence of the present, which makes the present moment in time very much conspicuous by it’s presence.

Make use of your presence of mind so as to reap the maximum benefit from the present moment in time with regards to everything that exists in the present.

Every opportunity brings along with it an element of risk,
identify, recognize and accept an opportunity as an opportunity and not another way of doing things.
Once an opportunity is accepted, then the responsibility of dealing with risk comes along with it.
Make sure you know everything, each and everything and all when it comes to the process of dealing with an opportunity.
Also make sure you know the importance related to an opportunity, since as and when it is striked upon, it will enhance the scope of future.
Every opportunity brings along with it an element of risk, deal with the risk involved in it so as to make sure you know what exactly lies in that opportunity.

Present in the present is the presence of the present, which makes the present moment in time very much conspicuous by it’s presence.

Everything that belongs to you is what makes you who you are.
Think of what is there for you in the outside world and gradually the scope with regards to the present and future will become narrow.

There are two ways to it, either you know the thing or you learn the thing,
but even in doing so time is a major factor that will bother you.
So better be what you are, understand the same and in the process you will learn that presence of mind in the present will bring the much needed change with regards to present and also in future.

Everything with regards to the outside world will change only when the approach and attitude changes and this will happen only when the importance and value of time is agreed upon and accepted.
So understand the importance of present in your life,
the importance of it’s presence and more so the importance of the present moment in time.

Present in the present is the presence of the present, which makes the present moment in time very much conspicuous by it’s presence.

Definitely life continues to move ahead along with the present moment in time,
searching for viable options,
possibilities,
confirming at the same point in time if there is an opportunity,
if anything amongst all seems to be there,
not only the present moment in time will get defined,
but also it will pave a definite way to deal with an uncertain future.

Darkness calms me.
Knows me.
Quiet, alone.

Daylight is a mask.
An illusion.
I try to be bright
but I'm ******* burning
on the inside.
Craving the shadows,
yearning for silence.

My mind screams;
voices remain still.
Loving the pain.
Dreaming about my solitude-
alone
2 years later I had the courage to read my diary..
two steps forward,
one step back.
But what if,
you cannot step any further.
What if,
the ground had failed you
and you went falling
into the abyss of nothing.
please dont't tell me
i'll never escape.
Because i can take two steps forward,
and never look back

A LADY BOOK CRITIC WENT TO INTERVIEW
A LEADING JAPANESE AUTHOR - SHE WAS EXCITED
AT MEETING THE GREAT MAN AND PREPARED
MANY QUESTIONS WHICH SHE WISHED TO ASK HIM.

THE MAJOR INQUIRY WAS: 'WHERE DO YOU GET
YOUR IDEAS FROM? WHAT INSPIRES YOUR WORK?'
HE REPLIED: 'MY DEAR,' HE SAID, GIVING HER A
WITHERING LOOK, 'I JUST PLUCK MY IDEAS FROM
THE SKY AND IN MY EXPERIENCE NEVER WONDER WHY.'

SHE WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AND REFUSED TO READ
ANY OF HIS WORK FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS.

PERHAPS CRITICS SHOULD HAVE MORE INSIGHT -
A LEADING TV REVIEWER WAS FULL OF FILM NOIR
AND FANCY WORD WHICH ONLY SERVED TO MAKE HIM  SOUND ABSURD.
today i was thinking.
I was thinking about all that I've seen in the world.
I've seen evil.
Nazis, ******, KKK.
All of them wanting something in the world.
All of them killing. Hurting.
They are evil people.
Evil is inevitable.
Which is why I want out.
I want to leave this terrible place.
I want to go home with the lord.
Because i do not condemn sin.
But then i ask
is it real?
religion?
Sin?
Death?
Death seems so blissful.
Nothing can last that is good.
Thus my theory.
Bleeding diamonds.
Beauty doesn't last.
So if good things don't last,
can death really exist?

A rare thing, my Mother's touch.
Though it was she I desired,
her babies I lovingly embraced.

Letting us make messes.
Be boisterous.
Expected independence.
“You do it, you learn it”
Helped us raise each other,
myself in the lead.

Our imaginary
world, rarely interrupted,
allowed us the freedom
to entertain ourselves.
Mom was not one to coddle,
but to patiently teach.
Cooking, gardening,
care giving.
To plant a tree,
and properly prune.
Create a thriving home
for salamanders.
Names of plants and trees.
Cloud formations.
how to patch up bloodied
knees and noses.

My Mother knew how to
transport a station wagon
filled to the brim with kids.
Provided us with masking
tape to square off our own
territory, creating safe
havens from point A to B.

She was fearless during
that overwhelming time.
Chaotic household of
youngins’ needs.
Teens tempers, mixed
with yearnings and desires
She taught us perseverance.
Eyes forward
No matter... calm or storm.

Her demeanor,
devoted and gentle.
Yet, fierce in determination.
An educated “No bones about it”
woman. A nurse.
Cute in a clean,
crisp natural way.
A woman of extraordinary
capabilities, rarely
comfortable with a compliment.

Not one to linger in a
moment of luxury.
To be soft and silly.
Or settle in for a deep cuddle.
The way she was raised
amongst her kin of many,
being the youngest.
from a different time.

Regardless of my perspective,
She loved enough to
make 5 children.
Provided food.
and kept us clean.
Encouraged the decoration of
our bedrooms to our
personal delight.
Allowed dogs and bunnies
to share our lives.
Insisted on the five food groups
at each evening's family meal.

These days, I cherish the hand
picked cards always mailed on
time for occasions and
holidays. ThankYou notes for
every kindness shown her way.
With her gardens beautifully
tended, herbs carefully harvested
and patiently dried, at Christmas
she labeled recycled spice bottles
collected from here and there.

Yesterday I gathered them,
Small glass vessels in hand.
My name and the date,
meticulously written by
her hand on white labels.
Over time, I have
saved them all.
Ingredients left intact.

My Mother's language of
love lined up in front of me,
these Little Bottles,
a culmination of the years.
Aromatic herbs
tenderly tucked inside.
I understood then,
I had been
Held in Mother's
arms all along...
I just never knew how to
fully accept her embrace.

My Mother and Father are both 83.
It is our honor
to care for them now,
as they did for us then
when we hear the silence
in our closed eyes
direct it into our soul
let it conclude its work
become our consciousness

far from the world’s noise
if only for moments
in secret    with no audience
we become one
with nature quietly shaping our lives
