कल आएगा,कल जाएगा

पर बात तो ये हैं

कि हमसे ना हो पायेगा।

सावन की पहली बारिश
हरा खेत लहलहाता हैं।
सावन की पहली बारिश
इस माटी को महकाता हैं।

बूंद-बूंद मछलती
खग नए सुरो में गाते हैं
पानी की बौछार में
जीव जंतु नहाते हैं।

फूल-फूल में आनंदोदय
टिमटिमाती क्यारी
गा रहा हैं सबका हृदय
मिटि थकावट सारी।

पर जैसी ही सब घर पहुचें
सर्दी लगी बिंदास
दो घंटे बाद पाए गए
बिस्तर में करते हुए आराम।

गरम पकोड़े तलकर खालू
सोच रहा हर मानव प्राणी
पर अपनी तोंद की गहराई देख
छा रही हर प्रत्येक चहरे पे उदासी।

रास्ते नदी के धार बनते
फुटपाथ गंगा के घाट बनते
परेशानी के पानी का स्तर बढ़ता
कभी गम ,कभी खुशाली।

जीवन के इस मौसम को मेरा प्रणाम हैं
जल के इस वरदान को,कोटि-कोटि आभार हैं।

We are in heaven.
almost paradise
Hell was all around and about
if one let it roam.
So we don't and as for Heaven
one must be worthy to enter
it's tiny needle eye
as fat camel enters best

and critical closed up mind.

When the tale of the kite wraps itself around your neck,
And yet continues to fly, freely
You should now know that freedom to one comes at a cost to the other.

But you must wonder, as Jupiter and Zeus watch this storm,
that leaves nothing more than dust in their eyes;
It's funny how kites are a symbol of freedom when they are actually tied to a glass-coated cotton string.
The same cotton, that another boy who looks directly into your eyes could have worn.
It's funny how when one side of the coin is painted in platinum
and the other side struggles to know whether it's still a coin with value as it is being corroded.
Yes, they were one coin. Once.

The tulip blooms fade before the foliage dies,
every flower that dies is not reborn
But on the land it does, is.
When the flower is no more,
the green stem still remains.

But did the flower die from the wasp
that stung its nectar and perhaps even the pollen
or did it die from the feet that stepped upon
because they were inside the duststorm that disallows them to look at the ground.

Do all flowers that die are reborn?
How many flowers can one wasp even sting?
How many times can you stomp over one flower until it has no petals but only your footprints?

As you wonder,
The tail of the kite has been detached from its throne,
You look, as you wonder, if this is freedom or that was.

And another Hassan chases it yet again.

The dawn was breaking
It was history in making
The charkha of time had turned
After so many years
A nation was waking

I respect your emotion,
I respect your notion,
I respect your beliefs,
According to your definition.

It's a beautiful sentiment
Of oneself for its nation.
You can't expect the same,
As per your definition.

For some it's their pride,
For some it's their confidence,
For some it's their arrogance,
But for me, it's a feeling of humanity beyond boundaries!

Nationalism is to see all equal,
Nationalism is to fight against prejudices ,
Nationalism is to fight against discriminations,
Nationalism is to be united,
Nationalism is to make and keep sovereignty.

Nationalism is beyond one's explanation,
Nationalism is beyond one's thoughts,
Nationalism is beyond one's beliefs,
But, is nationalism above or beyond  humanity?

You must have the feeling of nationalism,
You must support your nationality,
But You must stay away from extremism,
To support the mankind and humanity.

Nothing is above than humanism,
Nothing is above than mankind,
Nothing is above than humanity,
Neither our nationalism nor our nationality!

Two brothers fought

Both lost
Freedom exacted a dear cost

As ocean falls from the sky
On my glass and concrete umbrella
I am engulfed in the petrichor
And lose myself to the winds
