Nature’s fine composition
Music that is so closer to the heart
Humming along with nonchalance
Swaying branches join the harmony
Winds dance to the timeless rhythm
Silent echoes from the mountains
Calling out to solitary souls
Solitude is an eternal bliss
When one is in tune with nature

I found her while she was humming,
Her sweet symphony breaking the silence

My heart skipped a beat in that moment
As I listened to the song that was stuck in her head

And I just watched her,
I watched her move and everyone else disappeared

There was something about the way her eyes closed
As she got lost in the song
That took my breath away

I fell in love with a girl
And I found her while she was humming

You're in the tap of my foot
As I wait for the bus
In every song we used to sing.
Though it would be good
To forget about us
I remember every little thing.

The titter tatter on the rooftop tells me a story.
The humming birds sing me a lullaby.
The flowers blooming show me beauty.
The raindrops on the window explain life.
And the tears on the ground hide behind the rain.

Will this ever-increasing tic
obsession( fine fresh fierce)
end?
Oh dunedin
birds gossip nicely as the sixth pm drains away the daylight
like the holy cousin of rainwater, sliding into sewers and grasses
collecting in the corners, broadly shouldering
alight upon my flushing cheeks as I grin with content and turn open palms
fronds for photosynthesis- to the running sun
she hides behind a tree, throwing black shadow and navy skyshine to cover her tracks
easily distracted
stars mesmerize in redcloud manners with their fervent chimiing
and when the sun finally leaves i will not sleep by your side
but this is nothing new. so i eat hazelnut spread and honey on granola and milk
forget my nicotine withdrawal for the night
i'll smoke a bowl in order to eat dinner and sleep
without you
my fingers smell like
chocolate
green ashes
black tea
and skin

oh meow kiss meow

There was a song,
I recall like a drug.
From my childhood,
yet faintly lost at sea.

It was a sweet song.
A whistle?
A sweet song indeed.
It was a humming,
and a hemming.
And I sway to the long,
for that old sweet song.

The song that shut
sweet child eyes.
The song that could
disguise bad times.
The song filled with warmth,
to soften my ice.
The song that calmed pain,
proving the existence of 'truly nice.'

This song from way low,
to the day I now know,
is my..heart
my..sky
my lu-lu-lullaby
I always wanted my parents to sing me to sleep. Read me a book to sleep, but they didn't.
The only thing my mom read to get me to sleep was the bible. And we weren't even that religious.

Now I love lullabies so much! Vienna Tieng- Lullaby For A Stormy Night is my #1!
