It’s hard not to catch feelings
And still be honest with yourself
It’s hard to take up the numbing
When you know how love has felt
And before you go
Oh, you should know
That I adore you like God has hope
So Many beautiful poems,
About love today, Receiving,
Giving, sharing, wishing,
Along with tears, for those,
Hearts, that were broken,
Some way.

Everyone, falls in love,
Numerous, reasons, and ways,
As you walk the path, of rose’s
Always make sure, your sharing,
An honest reflection, of yourself,
If you want, the love in your life, to stay.

When you call someone A friend, the thought, should be true,
One of the greatest relationships, of all mankind,
No one should ever come between you,
Special emotions, together you feel,
Help each other, any day or time,
Friends, are honest and real.

it seemed inconsequential, at first,
an innocent reminder, a party next
week brought a quick turn away,
as if she had spotted someone across
the street, or perhaps jolted by the
thought of an oven left on

of course, it was neither, and
her gaze quickly returned, her visage
now sullen, acquiescent to the moment
“I’ve been meaning to talk to you"

I should study
but honestly,
even you, fool,
make more sense than this
trust me, there's no sense in you

It’s not what you think
It’s what I made you to believe in
I censor it
Paranoia pulling deep ends
My words are bruised
Coming straight from heart of warrior
Losing a truce
Counting days when we were merrier
I see them staring deep,
Fishing my answers and my secrets
It’s like I am, an open book easy to tear which
Can be thrown away whenever you would want to
Hold it sternly, it has stories of
scars with faint blues
I yell at my heart with all strength that I’ve left
To speak up against insecurities and deep anxiousness
Someone will hold your hand only if you put it forward
And leave you too,
If its fed with fake jolly smiles and pictures
I’ll tell you this truth,
If I’m ever being honest.
But that’s the thing....
I’m never being honest.
This poetry comes straight from a mind filled with insecurities and fears of saying something that she might regret later.  A poem; written by a midnight overthinker, who sees herself as a person who cannot express with right words when she speaks but can pour her heart when she writes....
"THROUGH ALL THE *******"

_whenever it feels so tiring, when it seems the world is smashing down after a cloudburst, of course even through all the *******._

Let courage uphold. The ability to sustain negative effects is bravery. honesty and integrity, loyalty delivers from slavery.

When we can't get moving, we get growing.

I bared my heart and soul to you and you embraced my honesty.

You said it's a quality you love
but was not ready for the words you heard.
Everyone wants honesty but sometimes they cannot handle the truth.

there would be no sleep
this night
wracked with reckoning
futile cup of decaf cooling
minutes become
memories murmuring
recriminations reverberate
bowed head nodding
over quiescent keyboard
as vivid visions vanish
one
        into
                another
hesitant hours hovering
errors echoing
in void of forgiveness
aching agony of awareness
becomes brutal
he receives respite
as night became day
he understood what truth
could be known
he has only himself
and the day before him

and so he lay down
and so his eyes close
in the light of morning
So many of these.
"...but then, if you're so smart / tell me, why are you still so afraid?" - Billy Joel, "Vienna".
