Shades of purple
Come out easily
Purple displays strength well known
Those types of arms that feel like home

She writes in cursive
Unique calligraphies
They translate in depth, you sink
Leagues and oceans upon paper and ink

Fights the wild things
They mistake her for one of their own
And though untamed she may be
She stays vigil, her own she oversees

Shade always seems the same
A book in volumes under lock and key
If you read what bled through you might worry, so
She gives you only what you need to know

Always purple
Different hues now and then
She will always be your solid ground
Even when her world is crumbling ‘round

Shadows grip our tongues in fear
Stopping us from spilling words they might not wish to hear
They choke us with their invisible hands
Stopping us from unflinchingly taking the stand
They stare into our souls with veiled eyes
A vaporous possession from ghosts in disguise.
A poem written around Halloween...The imagery seemed fitting.

I think you are the most beautiful person ever
Every feature of you is like a melody
Beautiful and mesmerizing
And I look forward to seeing your smile
That’s what keeps me going throughout the day.
And although you may think nothing of it
When you put your hand up to the glass to “touch” hands;
It’s a special moment for me
Because you smile while doing it and I feel like there’s a part of you that thinks it’s kind of special too.
Just not as much as me.
And you’re the first person to ever make me nervous.
Just looking at you makes my heart race
And sometimes I’m at a loss for words.
I’ve never felt like this before.
You make me feel like there is a rainbow at the end of a bad thunderstorm
You make me feel happier around you, because normally I’m sad.
And you’re so full of character and kindness.
Oh god your kindness makes me feel like I’m in a dream, because your kindness is so pure.
You let me speak my mind, and you don’t judge me no matter what I say.
*** and your laugh , I literally just heard it while writing this.
Your laugh makes me smile so hard.
This is why I like you.
Although I shouldn’t.
There are rare cases like this where the person actually gets a chance with their crush
But I know it won’t happen for me which *****.
And because your beautiful and older than me; what chance do I have?
Absolutely zero
Maybe 5%.

Sometimes I cry thinking about you and it’s because I care that much.
I just wish you knew exactly how I feel.

And even though my feelings will obviously be either rejected or hurtful, or maybe you’d give me a chance?
I want you apart of my life forever.
And even though it’s kind of forbidden.
I’d still want you to know how I feel.

So if you ever come across this poem

Just know that my feelings are 100% true

She did not look burly from across the vast room
A crowd of thousands, but her blood stained blazer shined against the fixtures
An easy catch for the looking eye,
But deeper than the red that rolled off her shoulders
That waterfall flooded her chest and biceps
Not a crease nor a dent, a flawless exterior for a woman
To hide a healing girl

Tens of golden bands hugged her skinny fingers
Though she kept her left finger a clean slate
An offering? An assertion? A statement.
Left for the interpretation of ones not looking hard enough

Golden links swung back and forth across her chest as she swayed to the music
Weighed boldly by the sign of a higher presence
A facade to be accepted, not a belief condemning her sins
She pushed forth her sins just below the surface of recognition

Her eyes mirrored the soil far beneath her feet
Deep, leading straight to Earth's core, her core
The sole insight to her cry to be loved and not someone's lust

She built a fortress with those crimson walls
So the softness within could take a breath
A break short lived as it was approached by a harsh wave of blush
When she longed for the hidden intensity across the vast room
A woman draped in a deeper blue than the oceans they were yet to sail
Whose water could wash away blood stains
And expose a red louder than mackintosh, sweeter than red delicious

Those crimson then walls began to fade
Into a woman worth knowing what's hidden behind her walls

I see hidden things
I'm looking into my soul
What should I see there

It is intimidating
It is impressive to view

To actually see
You're own true identity
You're very own self

Is it worth the look to see
To see who you really are

To feel your own soul
Open and vulnerable
Opened for viewing

Take the time to see inward...

Brian Hill - 2019 # 209
Can you do it?
Can you look inward to see?
I can only truly forgive
When I choose to see with love
And I’m only able to love
When I’m open to forgive

When I choose not to forgive
My energy is blocked
And the keys to love remain locked
The path to prosperity
Remains hidden from me
And this changes the way I live

When I choose to forgive
My energy flows easily
And my love more freely
The prosperous way
Flows with me day by day
And I’m able to share and give

It's funny how words can do such damage
It's hurtful how I don't know how to use them
For when I slip up, I hurt those I love
And when I hurt those I love, I hurt badly
Perhaps amends can be made
Perhaps hearts can be healed

I don't know which direction things will go
All I know is that I want to be the healer
And though I can't right now
I must try to not cause pain again
And break hearts once again

I wish that someday
I can figure out how to show them how I feel
I need them to know
They deserve to know
If you know, you know.

You've been long gone,
But my love for you is still standing strong.
Maybe you've moved on
Maybe you don't love me no more

One day, I'd be the same
But one thing i can promise you,
Even if i found someone new,
I will always love you.

Somewhere deep inside my heart,
I will keep you hidden.
I will love you always
An undying love for you

She was made
of gold
and marble
and she stood
above
the water.
A boy of stone
less looked at
stood hidden
behind
the ivy.
Forgotten
by most
he loved
the girl
made
of gold
and marble.
He
loved her
she
loved him
and they whispered
their love
in the night.
what do you think?
