Those who serve halos
under the false light won't bring
Age of quintessence

Those who tread the path
under the true light know that
love destroys the dark
I've always believed that there is more to this world than meets the eye.
I've always thought it then, and it hasn't changed now.
Be back soon.

Pondering in Spring
Warming up in tranquil minds
Leaves falling gracious

My hearts runs gently
The light gives inner mind rest
Gardens spread onward

Slumber intertwined
Stress, my fallen foe falls quick
Rain becomes voiceless
Some haikus from my journal!
Mediating under the shade of a tree is beyond relaxing, I swear!
My mind feels settled now.
94 fricking followers?!? ***! ***! ***!
INSANE! Thank you all so much!
I was thinking, should I open a Twitter/Instagram?
I'm not sure if I should. I would mainly be writing
and drawing on there.
Anyway, I'm super grateful for the support here!
HP IS THE BEST!
Be back soon!

A cold glass in hand
So delicate on the nose
Wine of Italy

Such a rich sweet smell
Sparkling pink with berries
Of both rasp and straw

Sips from a Rose Sea
Tendrils coil down my body
Flowers bloom warmly
Had my first who!e glass of Rosé wine today with a friend.
I'm not a drinker, (so I'm naive in the ways of alcohol) but it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Not something I'll make a habit of doing either lol cuz I'm a lightweight. Me and alcohol don't mesh well, that I can be honest about.
Drink responsibly always!
Know you limits!

I'm getting older
Blessed to live another year
Now I'm twenty three

Today is a gift!
A celebration of life.
I'm grateful to breathe

Life truly is short
So many dreams in my heart
Never enough time

Though I am still scared
My heart burns with hopes and dreams
I want to shine too

Age is a number
Now is when I take that step
Towards my future

Words, my history
Success is my destiny
Come stability

Lyn the little bird
Feel the wind, flutter your wings
Take flight and sing loud
Guess who's now officially 23!
Man, i don't feel any different but still.
Another year, another blessing! ^.^
Thank you to everyone here for giving me the confidence I need when it came to my work! You guys are awesome!
Much love

Rosy mists breaks skies
Dawn is painting the new day
Periwinkles sway

Smooth, glassy ponds
Sunrise flares sweet spokes of light
Noble groves of trees

Koi fish glide smoothly
Glimmer through seaweed like pearls
Their eyes shine with joy

A tree dew drop falls
Kiss the pool and forms dimples
Near to far rose shades
Had a trip to a park today. For once, the sun was shining, the sky was clear and the breeze was perfect. I sat at the top of the hill, closed my eyes and just imagined a quiet place in mind. So here it is!

Been a while since I wrote a classic haiku.
This was so lucid, it's kinda scary. Man, I really AM getting better at this! ^-^
*Lyn pats herself on the back*
Thank God for zen music!
Hope you like it and feel as tranquil as I did.

Be back soon!

Life is very short
And there's no rewind button
So live and let live

Try to be happy
See life as an adventure
You only live once
Small series of haikus from my journal.
My birthday is in a few days time and I realise how quick time is passing by as well as how fragile and short life is.

Yolo!
Be back soon!

Wen you are in pain
I'll carry you out the flames
I'll carry you home

And when you are home
I'll carry you once again
Til our joy attained

I love you in pain
I love you in joy's domain
I love you always

For eternity and a day

Mysterious wood
A large, surreal petal sleeps
near my golden pen

Open near woodlands
A beautiful, soft bird sings
under the lotus

Shining afforest
Special aged waters glide on
in spite of the calms
It's so weird going through my journals from a few years ago.
These haikus were scratched out
stargazer May 2018
Looked into my eyes
You said, "I will be okay"
I don't believe you
          ~
Worried myself sick
I am tired of these lies
Just let me help you
          ~
You don't say a word
I just see it in your face
Sadness spreads from you
          ~
I am here for you
Please, please, please remember that
My heart can't take it
Tell me if my syllables are off. I get caught up in the pretty words sometimes :)
