I finally see the river
after dancing for a lifetime,
I can embrace the end of
something,
An ending, or at least
a transition.

It gets closer.
The weeping willow cries for eternity.
Dipping its fingers into the water.
Fungi poisons the sad tree.
He waits in the water.
The bank moves back in.
Never before have I had such control!
I will not stop.
The journey was too great to afford a stop
especially at the supposed ******!
The water relentlessly surging,
tells me I made the right choice.
Confused, it starts to swirl in circles.
I have no such problem.
I keep dancing closer, now
crying with joy.
I will not wait for the
water to kidnap me,
I’m honored that he only waits.

I’m nearly upon it
I haven’t yet stopped,
nor can I now.
The water whirling an endless
fight with the rocks that try to escape.
The Styx shows no mercy.
The fish stumbles through a rock and vanishes,
crying a helpless cry.

At last the whole river is visible
I’m thrilled with what I see:
an ending.

All this time,
I thought death might have been
a cruel joke where we “die,”
only to still be awake after we enter
the kingdom of Hades.
The brilliance of life lies in the river,
in the river life lies dead.
I jump deliriously into the river.
Everything I write is a work in progress, I would love to hear any thoughts good or bad
Such was the heraldry of your being.
You stood before those who were of lower standing as you viewed them,
appointed oneself upward through controversial means, non of which were worthy of commendation. Corruption rose you to dizzy heights and watched as you violated the lives of others.
The lawful way is inconsistent and trust, honesty and goodness are words flaunted by your immoral and malicious demonstration. For ones own ends you walked the walk.
Now become by expiration, death should hold no surprises for one so foul.
The underworld is your new domicile and untold pain and torment are your future. Across the Styx, Charon will deliver you unto me. Watch with care the affliction of those minions that seek exoneration below the black wash. Purgatory however is beyond any reach that will veil itself to you.
Your appointment is of a somewhat personal nature to me and along with myself and eternity you will wish life had leant you on another path.

I'll drag you to hades to dwell with me
In the garden of Persephone.
We'll dine on her fruit so we shall be
Lost in each other for eternity.
Elysium shall hold no sway with us
We'd rather watch the sufferings of Tantalus
Souls crossing Acheron will provide
Our music, a tortured lullaby
Their lamentations won't put us to sleep
Nor will their groanings cause us to weep
But they'll fill us with fury rooted in lust
We'll lie down on blood soaked fields the color of rust
Then we'll journey through Asphodel
As we travel back to our home in hell
I with you and you with me
In the garden of Persephone
The first two lines flitted through my mind and I just had to flesh it out.
And I wonder if you know how if it feels to let you go
Pages turn and tables turn
But I stand still
As you disappear into darkness
You were a shooting star
Illuminating the night sky for a second
And long after you were gone
The trace of stardust you left in the sky as you crashed and burned
Is imprinted in my head
Replaying over and over again
Lasting impression of clear light

And I wonder if you know how it feels to let you go
Orpheus and Eurydice's lasting love
Him braving the gates of the Death
Braving the Gods to get her back
Her following him up the stairs towards life
But too scared she wouldn't follow
Turning around a second too early
And remembering a second too late

And I wonder if you know how it feels to let you-
-Turning my back on you and letting you
…(go)…

And I wonder if you know how it feels to let you go
I am the shadow of the person I was with you
When you made me swallow back my love
A small heart too big for my chest I
Am there and I have not let you go I
Am not Oedipus or Hades I
Am a lonely lonely heart.
I have lost you on a ride to happiness I
Have lost you in the heat of life I
Used to play on your skin
And smile at the sight of your beauty I
Used to sleep by your side
And listen to the sounds of your heart
When at night everything was silent but you and
And I wonder
I wonder…
I wonder if you know how it feels to let you *(go).
This one is for you

God of the dead
Death all he sees
Prince of darkness
Bow down to Hades

The collector of souls
Surrounded by screams
The guardian of hell
It precisely seems

Consumes the bad
Devoured by wrath
Strong vile powers
Don't enter his path

Lives for the pain
Enjoys his crown
Watch out for king
Of the underground

Powerful wisdom created by God
An angel named Lucifer flying abroad

The guardian of earth floating above
Was a welcomed bliss full of love

An angel with beauty like gazing art
Suddenly all perfection fell apart

Lucifer in demand to take the thrown
He desired all power to rightfully own

Jealousy destroyed his twisted soul
His bitter love then fell in a dark hole

God was not pleased with his action
Lucifer resulted in lost foul attraction

Satan was his new spiteful name
A devil that wanted all power to claim

Caged as a prisoner of his own mind
His heart is forever intertwined

My dark angel ****** cold like wine
All your lovely sins are just like mine

I will bring you down.
I will bring confusion to your worth.
I will bring you to your knees.
I will make you alone.
The despair caused by no other then.
Tick. Tock. Mirror.Clock.
Hades
I am you.

Lay my body rich with coins
As my dawn turns to dusk I will depart
Bless my soul to be reborn
And pray I keep my heart

Charon waits upon his boat
To carry me to the Otherside
I'll travel The River Styx
And marry time, as I am Waiting's bride

Bearded Ferryman of the dead
Refuse me not as I pay your debt
Tell Hades to lift the gates
For fate and I have met

Guide this monstrous beast
Along the waters spine
As we set off towards Afterlife
Where waits the Underworlds divine
Just a short poem about Charon (Kharon) a ferryman of the underworld in Greek mythology who served under Hades. Greek people would bury their dead with one obol, or coin, so they may pay his fee and be able to cross the river. Without the coin the souls could not pass. Some would make it without the coin and others would not.
