When I reach for free time
as an adult,
and quickly find it taken,

I remember that ambrosia
is only for the gods,
and mortals beware,

do not interfere
in anything
made for the gods.
I love Greek myths, but common. Where are days of nothing?
Mankind  ascended the mountain
Built the great tower
Reaching to the heavens
There in the splendor of the Sun
Did we **** the gods
Far easier than anticipated

But it seems that their marketing department didn't get the memo
Part of reductionist philosophy
Is accelerationism.
Where One acts in haste,
Rather than 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 speed:
This is the antithesis of
Hermes.

This is the antithesis of
Toth.
Don't get caught in the Rain,
Only to be struck by Lightning
And curse the Thunder.

For Oceans are beckoning,
Electric is waving,
Thunder is speaking;

The point is,
Pick up the torch.

For when fires are raging & spreading
You either lead, leave, or get burned.
A Tiny Explanation Of The Previous Work Posted:

In the "mysteries" of "Dionysus,"
Or the philosophy of Apollo,
This means stand when you imbibe libations.
When/if you do drugs.

To better know how inebriated or intoxicated
You are or have become.
To properly imbibe them rather than be binded by them or blinded by them.

Similarly, such libations can cause sickness
Without moderation. Such things zap us
Of our relaxation, even stealing our tongue(s).

Hunting what the cause is -
Searching for the light in silence or by abstaining,
Can rebirth the (good) time
Of truth wrapped in/up.

We must ward off sickness;
About our troubles we must talk.

What made them philosophies to the Order(s),
Was the constants between cultures.
You could rattle off names of "Titans" & "Gods"
To easily communicate
Whatever was happening,
Readily understood by those initiated.

Very useful if you spoke different languages,
If it was not safe/was dangerous to talk in open/openness.

And what made them "mysteries"
Was that outside observers
Were left clueless
Unless they themselves had found the light/sawed through the darkness
Or hunted for the truth(s) of the matter(s).

It was a language of Philosophy,
The Philosophy of Language.

We thought the machines, the extraterrestrials or even the gods themselves would come down and stop us.
We had it seemingly coded within us, thinking there was some hard boundary that we would not be allowed to cross.

But no one came.
There was no one to stop us.
No one to contain our endless ambition.
The universe had no natural mechanism to contain such an intelligent virus, and indeed that is what we are.

From world to world galaxy to galaxy we leapt,
ever quicker ever more hungry.
We became all the things that our ancient fantasies and fictions
told us we would fight.
We became the machines, we became the extraterrestrials
and even greater than the gods themselves,
whom we gave up trying to find eons ago.

We knew now that anyone in existence who dreamed of gods, dreamed ever so dimly of us. Or they would,
if there was anything left that could dream.
Here in the infinite cold dark,
a universe stripped clean like meat off of a bone.
There was an old saying that we came from dust,
and to dust we shall return.
We rest content now,
knowing we took all creation with us.

The love I had for you

Made the Gods jealous

But the pain you gave me

Made the Devil laugh

He said my name like an oath.

I said his like a war cry.

We met in the ruins of reason,

and built something holier from chaos.

He wore the moon in his eyes;

silver light and tides that pulled me under.

I gave him the sun,

burned my hands just to keep him warm.

We weren't star-crossed,

we were conjured.

Some cruel myth breathed us alive,

then turned its back and laughed.

We stole time from the fates.

Danced in Hades’ garden,

bathed in river Styx,

stuck out our tongues

as the gods crossed their arms.

He held my soul in his teeth

like a prayer too sacred to swallow.

And when the sky cracked,

we didn’t flinch.

We were the storm and the silence,

the prophecy and the curse.

Let the poets argue if it was love.

Let the priests deny it with trembling hands.

Let the world remember -

we are unforgiven

for making the heavens jealous.
