Though I don’t know
Exactly what to say
Still I must respond
To the undying impulse to write
Meaningless be It may
Still the flames I’ll sustain
And reward myself with the joy
Of a holding a pen
This is a call
A duty I must perform
So when the urge comes
I allow my heart to flow
Into the streams of many generations
Yes, generations yet to come
So when my torch burns out
My life will still glow
Like a many thousand lights
Long after I am gone

Through the slip of time
this angel serves her feel to yours
cheeks her flush of beauty
to your misty emotional body
touching her heat to your hearts warm keep
slight as a whisper says goodbye
to her ever lasting stay

My Woman and Her Treasures,
finally ended My Drouth.
When Her pink Lips created,
a Wild Storm in My Mouth.
She drove My Desires,
on a Hell of a Ride
and washed My Ego
by taking away some Pride.
Each Kiss She rendered,
aroused the Lion in Me.
Coz Her Lips were Sweeter,
than the Nectar from a Bee.
On Weekends Our Mood is set,
for Our Passions to Flow.
With each stroke I Serve,
Her Face begins to Glow.

Break the rules - not promises
Break the chains - not hearts

Make amends - not enemies
Make a brand new start

Take a stance - not hostages
Take control - not lives

Do what's right - not easier
Dream like butterflies

Have the guts to be yourself
Have the grace to go

Love yourself no matter what
Let your spirit glow

Had the line "Break the rules - not promises" for a long long while in my 'started but unfinished' backlog...
Listening to Taylor's 'folklore', came up with the rest (almost) in no time.
Thanks, bae!
Here's to a better, happier 2021 for us all!

slow mornings are my favorite
for i can simply stare out the window,
drink coffee,
and think.

whether it be cloudy or sunny,
it's always nice to bask in the low light.
the sun streams through the window with an orange glow and i wish nothing but to stand in it forever

To burn like an ember is of no
worth till one doesn't glow like an
ember.

hello old friend, silvery moon
you wrap around me with fingers of misty radiance
I feel cold and warm at the same time
you light the night like a beacon
coaxing ocean tides to wax and wane
your glow catches the new fallen snow
and my eyes behold millions of minuscule diamonds
sparkling just for me
is there anything you can’t do?
your power assaults my senses
as you throw a trail of gleaming light over the waters
I tread upon your soft lit path
mindful of the shadows you cast before me
your fullness lights my way
yet I stumble in your crescent dimness
you seem a fickle friend at times
illuminating a romantic evening
or hiding behind storm darkened clouds
still, even now I long for your next appearance
to bathe my face in your luminosity
and cast your magic upon me once again

her
she enthralled me with her orange hazy glow
that golden yellow singing chorus
made me think last night if I actually saw a rainbow
oh how unfair the broken are.

she broke last night asking me,
"why can't I cry like you?"
I replied, "because you have more breakthroughs
it makes you stronger. I'm just weak."

well, now I'm getting a look into her life
but I don't want to.
get me away.
this hits too close.
why the **** are the seasons changing and 2020 is getting more crazy?
