The awe of it all
Globes, glowing in the dark sky
Takes your breath away
The feeling of watching hundreds of hot air balloons add their magic to the dark sky. Incredible sight to see.

From Shisha with Love

The room was dark as I entered
Like a tangled pipe, I twisted, turned, and stumbled to my seat
That’s when I saw her, everything was suddenly bright
My eyes struck her creating a spark, she set me alight

Her head had all the flavour, her hair the fiery glow
Her eyes sweet like double apples, and her mouth mulish like mint
She was, so tall, so fine, so slender
The combination of cute and ****, any man would surrender

The path to the glow was clear, I couldn’t let this opportunity pass
Every advance I took towards her I inhaled and exhaled a little deeper
Like a shooting star in the night, I had to make my wish come true before the star strays
I found myself immersed in smoke I had lost my way; where was the star, the glow the blaze?

I began coughing and blowing the smoke away, and there she was
In my brief moment of vertiginous, the pipe was in another palm
The once fresh flavours became harsh, and the fiery flame was now smouldering
Like a coal that had lost its grey coat that protected its fragile warmth was now mouldering

Take a deep breath and let it go.

She is a diamond that sparkle
Reflecting her own misty glow
She is the free flowing fluid hope
In the carbon cave of deploration
For the F of R.

Love explodes like little paint tubes
pressurized inside my heart
color shoots
and streaks
across all these walls and chambers
dripping down through all my veins
a rainbow stretched from chest to feet

You glow from diffused moon
Soft fists in young night
My touch blooms to extinguish
I cannot hold the charcoal grey
Soot of longing and despair
You in glory the god of mystic

The crazy dark of night is him
I am just a distant yellow star
You know the rest.

Millions of stars.
Shooting,
Falling,
Granting wishes
All around me,
But only one
Lit up
My sky.

I chased it
Blindly,
Dancing on
The moon,
Swinging on
Saturn's rings,
And searching
Through endless
Galaxies,
But I never
Could quite
Hold it
In my palm
To glow
Brightly in
My hand.

I think now
That maybe
Perhaps
You were
That one star
That my arms just
Weren't meant
To reach.

Close.
Close enough
To be warmed
By your light,
To be changed
By your beauty,
But only to admire
From a distance,
Millions of
Light years away.

Here I stand,
looking at nothing,
feeling empty.

You look at me
and ask me why.

I turn to you
and see you glowing.
You took every part of me.

You're full, I'm empty.
Mission accomplished.

Bewildered and haunted,
This one night,
Feelings of disarray,
Taunting from the full moon
Haunting through the blue room
A fearful haunting sound
In the midst
Of the town
Owls crying as they flee
Evil prying as we see
The night has come
To lock us in exile,
Beneath its red eyes

Embers of darkness
Glowing afar
Chains of attacks
Calling from the witching hour
As men sleep without   power
Let us watch the night tears
As it conquers all its fears
Which it kept for a million years
But when morning comes
And the rising sun ploughs
I will
Leave
The night
Into a dazzling
light
I wrote this piece on one troubled NIGHT
27-09-15
The poem is targetted at giving hope to those who deel hopeless, helpless, discouraged, anguish and pain all at once. You feel as if the night will not pass away. Hold on, for the morning LIGHT WILL SHINE ON YOU AS THE SUN RISES.
