I'll love you
like an orange -

Something so easy
to handle,
so easy to
share -

A soft kind of love
that's already there,
that you just have
to take
the step
:)

Good morningπŸ™‚ no worries I am not in trouble with anything, I just thought that I should try fitting myself in others' shoes and try making their feelings known. I have encountered a lot of people that lost their passion and dreams, scared to live a life on their own...but I say let us not be afraid and live, for we don't live once we live everday but we die once so, make the most of it. This poetry is just another eye-opener for the ones who feel like dying while living everyday, a message to you from me...that no matter how tough life gets we all need to fight because no one want to lose, right?  We all need to live because that's his gift, he chose us to live the life. We need to fight because that's LIFE.

This is a gift I brandish alone
My sheath is my passion
My sword is my poem
Intellectual aestheticβ€˜s
My centre of pleasure
My creativity flows on
This body is tethered

People can make me feel quite strange
They roll their eyes and shake their brains
Seldom are they on the same page
Where poetry flows
In an aesthetic array

But this is who we are
And there is no need to change
The expanding universe
Is calling our names
...................
We are the creative ones of our societies
It is not a burden but the gift,

I gave you something
that belongs to me,
and all you left for me
was the gift receipt.

A universal language to express,
Its potential is underestimated;
It is a treasure that you possess.

The sign of your strength,
Smile is the prettiest thing to wear;
Spreading happiness at length.

Inexpensive as it is to have,
It gives a glorious flair;
Go on and make it flash.

It is a key that fits well,
In the lock of other’s hearts;
Helping the relations propel.

Without words it says a lot;
It is the light of your soul,
Enlightening any dark spot.

A charming gift to give,
Smile is a two-way thing;
Make it the source of your bliss.

-First car.

Shiny fine silver,
For
A shy new driver,
Who in time,
Saved
Every dime,
So he
Could buy,
A sweet New ride,
for
A fair Price.

We would walk down the halls

Attending to our classroom calls

Students rushing left and right

Brightened by rays of morning light

In the midst was the both of us

You were late while I was just lost

I gave a nod but you gave a smile

This then went on for quite a while

Three years passed, and we still do

I sometimes stand there to wait for you

To wait for the smile that I see daily

Even doing as much as waking up early

A year from now, we won't be able to

Do the things that we used to do

You'll be elsewhere but I'll still be here

No longer waiting for someone I hold dear
There's this guy I've been crushing on for a long while now. He's a year older than me, and so he'll graduate highschool first. I've been meaning to confess to him, as well as say my goodbyes, but I never found the words to do so. In the end, I've decided on writing 20 poems for him.

The stars were there that night,
I saw them twinkle in your eyes
This was the first I remembered,
when I had to write my goodbyes

It was a cold, dark night sky
I could barely even see you
Though a small exchange of words
Made me know my feelings were true

Oh, is it possible to even tell you,
about how my heart's been throbbing?
Those few moments shared in the dark
Felt written to be never-ending

C**, this is my first goodbye,
One unnecessarily dramatic
Knowing you, you'll wear a smile
Having expected my strange antic
