So let me get this straight
i'm living out my faith?
Evolution equipped me with patterns
that are impossible to break?

They can be quite useful
for they really do help
to navigate this world
and continue building
what has already been made

Still..
all we have is the illusion of authority
for
.free-will could never be free.

It’s too expensive for the universe to manifest.
It would be impossible to change the pattern of all that energy
with just the impulse of a few thoughts
Imagine
Your brain with all those neurons
All those connections
All that information
All those algorithms embedded by selection
All those mechanisms, that created your body
All the baggage...
has been dragged through time since the dawn of life.

That honed pattern of existing
could not be broken and changed with simple thinking.
So with this in mind, i'm simply left here thinking.

A thought I had in 2010 P1

I sit, alone, through the days and nights, accompanied only by
the beating of my heart; that
r h y t h m
which is the only consistency we have to cherish.
The routines we build for ourselves breed change.
Nothing is steadfast.

As humans, we were made to falter.
We wish and fight and dream,
yet fall short of our own expectations.
What Great Being decided it was a good idea to grant the human race
Autonomy?

The illusion of free will
And false happiness.
Lives ruined by factors
We can't control.
Lives dictated by things
We can't talk reason to.

Riding by

Having these thoughts
we do not stand by
They shoot into consciousness
and simply ride by
They have a life of their own
we are just an observing agent
Living the life that they form.

Oh, i wish we could hold on to each one
like a deck of cards
Sort through the old annoying ones
keep living with just the good and pleasant ones
We could play them with perfect control and authority
Make the best decisions -
Life would follow accordingly.

Sadly it's not at all that simple
as i’m sure we all know
If you think that it’s different
well, we can have a go
Though
It's true! We are more than passive pieces of debris
Even plankton make micro adjustments in the current it inhabits
Unfortunately, this does not necessarily mean there is meaning in the movements

unrequited consolation

You must,
You just must surround yourself with people who respect you,
Give regard to those who do not
The path down the hill of contempt
Is one not well-kept
You might hear this often
I do,
I guess I know it’s a lot easier to write this
than to do
But once you leave,
you will feel free
Your company should never make
You feel hostile and trapped
You’re worn out and
It’s uneasy and uncomfortable
You don’t need an explanation to leave
Havoc and abhorrence
That’s they’re own doing
There may never be a consolation to these type
Of toxic relationships
But that’s the beauty of free-will
You are in charge of ones discretion
It may be unrequited, unsettling for them
But think about you now
Liberate yourself
Respect yourself
…
let them go
& now, be free

Prisoner 0

Crawling through this chaos in my mind with my plan
No one to confide in with my heart in my hand
I've been deadened by my pain
Have no more lessons for my brain
My time and life is counting down
Whilst I'm sat in this waiting game
Done with looping round in circles, in games for me to lose
Time to straighten to my purpose, to spring from this noose
A lousy pen as my firearm
As if the ink will create a spark
I've heard and seen the future that's written on my palms
And good god with all my heart, I will not stand by it
I think you're misinformed
I don't care if you're psychic
I refuse to serve that storm
I'll rewrite what can not be unwritten
Escape the cobra's clutch alive despite being bitten
Concuct an antidote from the venom of this prison
No matter how long I do my time, grappling on decisions
I forbid this captive's life to be lead by submission

Wack I know :P Would like to start writing and get better at poetry but have little idea of how to or where to start

Destiny

Do you feel destined to read this?
Everything is destined! Isn't it?
Some may disagree with me now,
To be very frank,
I was one of you!
Not believing it, But,
Yes, let's question the destiny!

If everything around you leads to your destiny!
what is your purpose of living the life?
Do you have a choice in this so called "destiny"?
Are you actually living your life?

For instance, If the Almighty God already knew
Adam&Eve gonna eat the apple anyway without a clue
Even though they were asked not to
Also if he knew what Satan gonna do

why would he allow them to eat in the first place?
why didn't he stop Satan, poisoning eve's mind?
why didn't he show, the so called god's grace?
Are they destined to get curse, How do we find?

Can you choose your birth?
Your parents? your death?
Is there anything of your choice on this earth?
We choose what we become, right? Take a deep breath!

Does our choices become our destiny?
Or is it our destiny making a choice for us?
Is death, our final destiny?
Isn't deciding if we've lived long enough a fuss?

Are we actually doing everything on our own?
If yes, Where do the destiny stands?
If no, Why are we being judged?
