Thirty-two cents is all you need
just concentrate
put everything you have into it
and you’ll get there.

Yes, but what do you miss
     from the whole cloth
     from which those few cents
     are cut?

I see the cloth
I’m poking through it
cutting from it
holding it in my hands.

Did you feel and see the fabric’s weave
     the imperfections and texture
     making it unique, interesting
     and beautiful in its landscape?

I got what I needed
from that poor piece of cloth
to put in the bank
to buy the factory.

     The future stretches before you
in your race to the finish line
     don’t let that ever-changing line
shrink the wealth of the present.

I woke up from a dream with the words: "thirty two cents" in my mind along with a memory of a dream.  I thought it might be interesting to write a poem with those thoughts in mind.  So I started typing that first line and the rest came to me as I continued to type.  The title seemed appropriate as a play on words with that first line.

Tonight plays a hand of old lies,
Play, it will under guided spies,
Lips of seal, hands of revenge,
Sweet-bitter taste of espionage,

Tell to little, and get no true gold,
Tell to much, and slit your own throat,
Get all is needed, quite and still,
Blabber no words, of the real made deal,

Ignore the feelings, remember the past,
Work for today, get rich at last.
I wrote this one at work, when I was sleepy and bored.

It seems I'm in a predicament
between the there and now
I don't know how I'll get through it
but I think I will somehow,

Got to keep my head down
and focus -
keep my eyes on the beautiful prize
because if I don't I'll see my dreams
go away before we could realize,

That we were meant to be together,
that this is our time
an our place,
I love the way you look
an it ain't just about your face,

I got lots of work to do
an so do you
it doesn't mean
it's a bad thing baby,
just hold me- love me,
an stop saying maybe,

Because you know you're a crazy
An me-
I'm out of my mind,
But I'm the star orbiting your Galaxy
and that is rare to find.

My eyes shift back
Into focus after staring
For so long

I blink as I wipe the drool
Off and look around

I sit in the comfortable recliner

As I notice the room, the chair,

The clock tells me how many years
I've been sitting here,
content to

Watch the dancing lights from
The T.V.

But all that's there is static

its amazing what we’re capable of when pressed;
lunar launches
and shaman healing
hail marys
and fortunes of gold
heavy hauls
and broken borders
war, compassion
and treaties of peace

all those wild and lofty regressions from the mean;
soul re-settings
(from deadly deeds)
scores and scriptures
liberty and peace
walls, asylums
(in the jaws of defeat!)
channeled spirits
of warmth
and love
and connection

and sometimes, it’s just a little fodder;
pyramids and viaducts
aqua-lines and chunnels
spider climbs
and deep dives
(with base jumps near the high wire)
gardens, and divine art
and even water boards
(for beauty is always in the eye of the beholder!)

have a look around...
and let gratitude be your guide

I Didnt forget my power
I didnt loss my mind
Just drifted into infinity
Now, as I come back to a world that is ready.
In a world of endless possibilities and scattered lightwaves

understand it is focus that makes a fire.
this was life Changeing and transforming!

Sounds swim constantly
Through the aches behind my unopened eyes.
The latest slumber trek is at an end.

The pace of my brain
Akin to a shortsighted grasshopper:
No focus,
Leaping all over the pace.

My inert body
Resolutely immoveable.

Just 5 more minutes.
