In the breeze, you are there,

Atop a tree as I sit, I feel you caress my hair,

In the sunset, you show yourself;

You're the crow flapping its wings,

And every flap takes you high—

Farther and farther away from me.

when he holds out a hand
it's unthinking, the way
you reach out for him
you were both laughing and loving
sprinting towards the light
running from the world

when you're together,
all those fleeting eternities,
everything becomes possible
tomorrow, it's your turn. happy birthday too! ah... i don't know what to say... do well inside and don't fall sick~ take care of yourself well~

I would build you a bridge into the waves if I knew you were afraid of getting your boots wet
It’s never that simple
I know
It would take a lot of lumber and it’s not your boots you’re worried about
But I understand, the cliff is always there the ocean never takes it
I hope you enjoyed your stay on the beach
The sand sure loved having you sink into it
But high tide is here and you can’t swim out with the grains you’ve come to love
Not without letting go of the cliff
Stay safe please
You never know where the under-toe will take you

If love is to fade
Why should it touch us?
If time will eventually take it back
Why should we feel it?

They say it's better to love than to have not love
Is that really true?
Is it better to ******* over something you can never bring back?

Love balances emotion.
It makes you really happy
And it makes you really sad.
But why must we feel it
for such a short period of time?

If it has to be extreme
Why is it fleeting?
Is the pain really worth all the happiness?
Will the agony of dead love
fade to forever, eventually?

Console my heart that it will
Because love has to be that kind
which only sends beautiful thoughts and feelings.
So people will want to feel it.
So this world that breaks my soul
Will be able to love
And be loved.

Isn’t physically quick or agile.

Disappears in libraries.

Has been known to dissolve into the physical pages of books.

Is good at tucking herself into the stacks and retreating to reading nooks.

Blends in at coffee shops where her voice can be drowned out by the grinding and the steaming.

Can become indistinguishable in the dark of theatres, in the quiet shuffle of art galleries, the finger-snapping of poetry readings, the hum and jostle of the Tube.

Is indistinct. Adept at hiding in plain sight.

The touch of the sunlight,
the warmth of the water
dancing around our ankles,
smell the salt in the air,
fresh and clean and pure.
Little tastes of happiness.
But it's never enough for you.

You think that happiness is a state,
like liquid or gas, something you stay in.
But happiness is in the fleeting moments,
the laughter of friends,
hot chocolate, sweet and smooth
with little marshmallows.

Dancing in the rain,
wearing your favorite shirt,
a walk through the woods,
a hug just a little longer than usual,
the warmth of someone else's arms.
These fleeing moments are
where you find happiness.

How I adore those fleeting moments
Wrapped in lace and tender touches.
Those intimate instances where the heart is flooded by butterfly kisses,
and the body ignited by fire.
I long for love's innocence
By the voice you whisper late at night.
I long for love's passion,
By your lips pressed gently against my own.
I long for love's warm embrace,
By your arms when the world crumbles beneath my feet.
But most of all,
More than anything,
I long for you.
My love.
My kerosene.
I only wished,
You longed for that love too.

You say you love me,
But you won't hold my hand.
You say you'll love me,
But you'll run and not look back.
You say you've loved me,
But you never want to dance.
You say you'd love me,
But not for who I am.
You said you loved me,
But I know you never have.
