There was a boy I knew
in my younger days
I tried to get to kiss me
using my womanly ways

I thought he really liked me
though he really didn't say
but when I tried to kiss him
he up and ran away

His Arteries Pressed,
What's Blood is Now Indigo
For He Pulsates an Ocean Across
His Thin, Paper-Skinned Skeletal

The Water Runs Deep
Though with Life Underneath
Only When Drowning Can One
See the Neon-Lit Streets

This Dive-In Devotion That Drives My Parts
Into the Abyss
With my Anchoring Heart, Never Shall I
Return to the Surface

I close my eyes
Waiting for you to meet me
In this moment
Tasting your breath
Drawing near my cheek
Peacefully
Holding me with your lips
Melting my heart
Letting you lead
I fight gravity
To open my eyes
Studying your stillness
To stare in your soul
I follow the colors tracing your eyes
Inviting me in
As my butterflies escape
Through the creases of my lips
I smile in hope
For you to come back for more

I recently found something I wrote about my first kiss with my now husband, and decided to turn it into a poem.

We dashed from your ally with
Each spring up the hill I could sense
The world abdicate from the unfamiliar
Hand I was embracing my body became hollow as
The wind carefully pierced me we reached the stage the
Lucent lights shone on your lips and my mouth watered while
The cold seized our bodies forcing them to glue together under the
Blanket of stars the warmth soothed the air but we held the cold captive as
A cover to cherish the glow that bubbled us from the city lights and the flourishing
Leaves when the secretive silence stole the cold’s show “so” you leaned in and brushed your Lips off mine and the bubble burst and everything shifted. All because of this. One. Moment.

It was a perfect sunny day in June
the day our fourteen-year-old fingers met,
our palms lined with a thin barrier of sweat,
under the Hyde Creek Bridge that afternoon.
After skipping rocks, we sat on the ridge
and Bobby granted my most desired wish
when he offered me my very first kiss
that afternoon under the Hyde Creek Bridge.
With his tender hand just under my chin,
(and my heart doing cartwheels in my chest)
he pressed his lips against mine and I sighed.
His tongue flicked my tongue, like an expert, he grinned.
"Was that your first kiss?" He accurately guessed.
"Of course that wasn't my first time," I lied.
True story :)
Like hot rain in early autumn
A hot, thick heavy scent filled the space
Momentos of all she'd shown him
Expressions flashing across his face

A creature as fine as this one
Should be treated with utmost care
Skin turned fire that burns like the sun
Stroked, carefully caressing you my dear

Nothing lewd, if only just as sweet
A formal expression of love
Our future together is right before our feet
Love is free, like that of a dove

You are my one and only little miss
I wrote this poem about our first kiss **
I'm really into sonnets at the moment and it's been a while since I posted so I hope you enjoy!

Laying on my back on my bed alone
Fingers laced, hands over my forehead
Fans mechanical whirring, trying to soothe my ravaged mind
Replaying in my head, every word exchanged on the phone
Moonlit shadows pirouette across my walls
Smoothly and so gradually they become our shadow selfs
Our very own love story playing out like a movie shown
At an old time drvin-in, the screen so big you can't miss a thing
It shows our endless nights of talking, about all our hopes and fears
And how we nurtured our love and respect and how it's grown
The shadows played on, to show that first ****** kiss
Our lips interlacing for what seems to be a life time
Two bodies entangling, if you listen you can even hear the moan
Our shadow selfs now inseparable, the rest of our lifes spent together
Even as the shadows slip across the screen and age creeps in
It is the greatest love story I have ever seen, it's our story that the moonlit matinee sown

Walking side by side
fingers almost brushing
Snowflakes of winter surrounded us
but I felt hot
So hot that I wanted to run away
but this moment felt nice
My face was caked with the coldness
but I still couldn’t contain
my ear to ear smile
Our fingers tingling with excitement
My eyelids lifting from the sidewalk
to see my home
We sighed with disappointment in sync
and turned with eyes full of embarrassment
Dear frost, Thanks
my foot settled on the step
only to be followed by a slip of fear
But that slip of fear never came
For he caught me
Eyes remained locked
Our warm breath of fog just inches away
In this moment I knew
you were going to be my first
So the beginning of my first love was placed before me
As his sweet lips touched mine
I gave him the biggest smile I had ever given
Dear frost, Thanks

Our NIGHT was wide -
With just a single star,
Above the shore's tide,
Where Angels watched from afar.

Breezy Autumn Eve,
With its Heavenly brush,
Painted our reprieve -
A Scarlet Blush.

Not a Soul went abroad -
To cease the Drums,
That gently applaud,
Under your thumbs.

Feel the fire stoke,
Beneath your grasp -
Donning Love's cloak,
Prithee me to gasp!

Now the Swans Sing,
Within Love's Gown -
The Serenity Spring,
Where I Drown.
