If I had the chance to relive one part of my life,

I’d do things differently with us.

I’d say “I love you” more often than I did,

and press a kiss to your lips the night we met.

I’d bring you flowers, yellow roses

just to bring warmth into your life,

because you told me you suffered too much.
I’d hold you tighter if I had the chance,

rest my head on your chest more, not less.

I’d place a kiss on the tip of your nose,

and maybe we’d get married

and dance to your favourite song.

I’d tell my mother you were the one.

I’d declare to her there was nothing but us.

I’d say something better
than “we’re too young,”

because it was such a silly thing to keep us apart.

But we were just kids, stupidly in love

and what could we do

when we were only thirteen years old?

If time were kind enough to give me another moment,

I’d learn how to listen to the silences

hidden between your words.

I’d keep every secret you trusted me with

and guard it like a treasure.

I’d walk beside you longer,
even when the road got dark,

and I’d whisper your name
like a promise
I meant to keep.
But time doesn’t wait,
and the past stays where it belongs.

All I can do now is carry your memory
like sunlight in my hands,

forgive the children we once were,

and thank you for teaching me

what love felt like the first time.

And if some distant evening

our paths should cross again,

I’ll smile at you softly

and hope you’ll know without words

that I always loved you

then, now, and in every life

where I get another chance.

And until that day,

I’ll plant yellow roses in gardens that aren’t ours,

watch them bloom and wither without you.
I’ll hear our songs in empty rooms,

and dance alone under a sky

that keeps its stars to itself.

It won’t change the past,

but it will remind me gently

how something so young

could still ache like forever.

I’ll walk down streets that feel like echoes,
where every shadow holds a memory of your face.

Sometimes I’ll whisper your name into the wind

just to feel it leave my mouth again.
Sometimes I’ll close my eyes

and picture the life we might have built

not to torture myself, but to keep it real

for a few more heartbeats.

And when the seasons turn,

I’ll stand at the edge of winter,

holding a single yellow rose,

knowing it will never reach you
but still lifting it toward the sky
 as if it might.

Because even if we never meet again,
somewhere in the quiet between my breaths
you’re still there,
thirteen and smiling,

and I’m still reaching for you.
it’s my first poem here, I don’t know what I am doing

They told me in the hospital,
with white walls echoing like a tomb,
"Your wife is dead."
I stood there, hollow,
my ears ringing with the absurdity of it.
I wanted to go home,
sit at her feet,
and tell her what happened
so she could tell me what to do
because that is how life worked:
I carried my burdens,
and she untied them with her hands.
She was my wife, yes,
but more than that
she was my mother when I faltered,
my friend when the night grew too heavy,
the compass I leaned on
when the road split into shadows.
Without her,
the air has no map.
The rooms in our house
stare back at me like strangers.
The bed is an endless field of absence.
Oh God,
why is it that women
are not like her anymore?
Why must her kind vanish
the kind who pour themselves out
until the world is softer,
the kind who hold you steady
when you don’t even know
you’re falling?
If love was a language,
she was its first word
and its last silence.
And now I am left,
stammering,
trying to spell my life
without her name.

After our first date
takeaway by the river,
red wine staining her lips
she leaned in and said,
“Life is too short for boring dates.
Let’s make this one unforgettable.”
I followed her heat
straight to the next hotel,
where clothes fell like lies,
where her breath hit my skin
and her body begged mine raw.
We loved until the night was torn open,
until the walls sweated with us,
until nothing existed
but the burn of her thighs
and the ache of my hunger
buried inside her.
Morning was cruel,
coffee fast,
her eyes still wicked.
She pulled on her clothes,
kissed the air instead of my mouth,
and left me with the echo of her body
her goodbye sharp as teeth.
I want to be chosen.
Finally.
It’s only been a month,
a couple dates.
I feel safe with
You.
I want to be chosen this time.
I want to be someone’s
Something.
I want to be chosen.
By him.
I’ll choose you too.
I hope I’m chosen,
by you.

Vividly emblazoned in my mind is you the most beautiful body of work. Wanting nothing more than to write the sweetest arias about the depths of your heart.

Fingertips mapped constellations
where words dared not go,
and the night became a river
pulling us deeper, slower,
where time dissolved into touch.

Your kisses speak a language of velvet and fire, rewriting the silence between us, as you taught me the rhythmof surrender and return.

The world slipped away
when your lips met mine,
a hunger, a prayer,
a thousand sparks bursting into endless flames lit up my night like fireworks.

I opened my third eye
and we fell into eternity
As your body pressed against mine,
the rhythm of our shadows
dancing against the moon light.

The vision of you on replay
body to body cheek to cheek
heat pooling between us
like a secret too heavy to keep.
As you buried your secrets deep into me.

A first encounter turned into to soul binding acclimation
Your mouth was claiming the taste was sweet. Like lightning and thunder forming against the night sky.
The deeper you pulled me and I crashed harder into you until the sweetest cries broke from me like a prayer.

The feel of every gasp a confession,
every shiver a vow, every gaze a promise, every kiss a reminder and every taste a claim.

As we reached the peaks of mountains together our bodies sang songs of old and new turning into fire
burning, breaking, booming
two hearts lost and found again
in the oldest language of desire.

You were my only first!
You were the one I needed!
When I woke up at first light,
You were my best indeed!

You were so strong for me,
Reliable like a rock!
In moments of agonising anguish
You were my only block!

I never not even thought that
I’d have to confess to you:
I’m sorry, it hurts me, but it can’t be helped,
I have to break up with you.

My bitter coffee of hopes!
My hot coffee of dreams!
Please, know one thing, in my heart forever
You were and you are my essential things!
It so happened that I had to give up coffee. Coffee had been my irresistible passion for many years. It was a really difficult step for me. I felt as if I was betraying my coffee cup, my coffee machine, my favourite coffee beans. I dedicated this ode to my only passion, which now remains in my memories and impossible dreams. ☕💖 And please, smile!😊
Thank you for reading it!

Slumped against a wall
Around the back of a
Home,

A week without a rest
and just
A lifetime to
Go.

A golden crown rests heavily
on my head,
Achievement rests light on
My heart,

Bracing for the second when
I start
Seeing stars.

Success is sacrifice,
And sacrifice is pain.
What is a winner without
A life of cruel shame?

Happiness is temporary,
Climbing the ranks is
Life.

I look at fate,
Fate looks back at me,
And I accept the hardship
with

A smile.
overachieving is living

A new room,
cold, empty space.
First glance,
uninviting.
I stood rooted.
For a while,
but without thought,
I stepped.

A bright glow through my eyelid
stunned me at the gate,
of my new beginning.
Struck by someone.
She, who never saw me,
who flattered me with her tone.
A woman with the prettiest auburn hair.
Her eyes, a rainforest,
one brown, another a startling green.

I would give her everything.
Happiness, a better life,
a perfect life,
but its beyond my reach to gift.

Her;

a poem, awestruck,
an abstract painting, worth the stars,
a love story, rose and bold.

She;

a flower, blessed with immortality.

She'd be my reason for life.
She's a spell everyone wants,
a warm feeling everyone needs.

All I want is her,
she's too distant to attain.

All I need now
is a world to grow
around my heart
until I grasp my freedom,
like fresh air
on a walk.
Written in 2022.
Limerence is an odd thing.
I went over to your house again.
The same situation, all over again.
Except this time it was slightly different.
I had more control and felt euphoric.
Now I feel insane when I’m without you.
When you’re gone, who will I talk to?

I want to be so close to you that I can’t get any closer.
I guess I was when we were together.
With you, I feel happier than ever.
Are we meant to be together?

I think it’s best if we stay apart,
But oh how it hurts my heart.
I don’t wanna leave your side.
Maybe I am broken inside.

I hope, I ache, I reach for love but you can’t see my true face.
You only see my silhouette
You can see me but you can’t see who I am.

You’ve crossed every border of my skin,
But never asked who lives within.
When I think of you my palms get clammy and my stomach turns.
This doesn’t feel like love should.
This is just wrong.

When I think about you I get anxious.
So do I really like everything about you?
And do you like everything about me?
Or do you just make me feel loved?
And do I just satisfy you?
Do I like you?
Or do you solve my Limerence?
