i've been thinking bout dying,
no resolve you'll comply with,
ain't no use to keep fightin,
never dreamed of you.

i spend time in my basement,
a downstairs mind with a facelift,
my body's here you're adjacent,
cannot see your view.

i met a girl in the city,
accepts me for who i am,
tongues like heaven while kissing,
we express our truth.

we would never suffice,
it's the same disease,
we're worlds apart
baby it's alright,
but our souls...
they gotta move on.
4 minutes 3 seconds with a grin...

“i am a god!”
he yelled
with shaking fists
and a beat-red face.
his knees scabbed
and his blood flowing freely
onto the cemented ground.

she stared down at him,
eyebrow quirked
and a hint of a smile.
sword pointed
and ready for battle.
“you may be a god,
but i am hades.
and i bow to no one.”

around the post they skip
with rope in hand
growing tight
with smiles delight
but smiles falter
their skipping stops
their post was not to share
they tugged their ropes
tied to the post
and ripped themselves in half

Fighting for herself,
a woman stands her ground.
She is we.
We is the women of the world, finally standing up for ourselves.
A woman knows she is strong. All on her own.
Against a man’s pride.
Awaken, women of the past,
Powerful women must unite.
be with us now.
All mighty women.
With the destruction of the man’s arrogance,
All men must come to understand their ignorance.
With this comes women howling with enthusiasm.
Breaking down barriers of the patriarchy.
Lower pay, ****** exploitation, being treated as if women are “lower” than all men. All these things that have shut out women for so long.
Well, watch this.
Smashing the wall,
standing our ground.
A woman is a hell of a force.
Don’t you know they named her Mother Nature for a reason?
We must help to resist.
Women do not come without being prepared.
It is an organized chaos.
As if it is Mother Nature herself.
Incredible and blazing.
A cure,
to what is wrong.
Women. Finally fighting for what’s right.
Women. It’s going to be a hell of a fight.

Away from the roots of it,
far from the truth;
there you'll be.
Asking questions no one can answer.
dodging stares,
slurring, launching
slings and arrows
at your darling- your sweetheart.
Hard to believe this could be your reality,
but it twist and it turns all within the bounds.
Yet, physics will mean little to you
as the heart aches.
and the roots of it all
are out of reach now.
I've been broken since the beginning.
Like a seed you found in the trash,
and planted in a dark room.
Deprived the warmth of a mother, like the sun
and sprinkled with attention like water.
I was put into the hands of someone,
with black thumbs.
Denied the fight denied the chance,
dead at first glance.

Between silences
Things seem okay
Can't find problems anywhere
Always have a smile on my face
Until I remember they're still there

It is easy to forget I'm mad
If I dream about your eyes for too long
Usually I get so distracted
Not even sure who's right or who's wrong

So there is not really much point
Fighting if it is all a waste
Arguements will slip my mind
No matter how bad the distaste

So next time we disagree
Let us not raise our voices to a shout
I can almost guarantee
We are just going to end up working it out

I'm fighting demons in my head.

It fights me and straps me to my bed.

It's weird. It's really strange,

that this feeling will never change.

I can't give up just yet. Not now.

I'll keep going, though I don't know how.

I'll find a way to get rid of this thing.

Even if it hurts. Even if it'll sting.

And though I know I may never win,

I will never give up. I will never give in.
I woke up this morning to see Hello Poetry and... Oh. My. Gosh.

Thank you all for your support! I never thought so many people would read my poems!!! Thank you!!!! (Yes, this is very cheesy but whatever!)

Stay away from the man in the mirror
You cannot keep going like this, dear
I know your fighting all your demented fears
But remember one day your thoughts will run clear
