Why do I drink?
Is there somthing wrong?
Obviously, its not why you'd think.
Im just living every sad song.
Every loneliness.
Every misjudgment.
Every heartbreak.
Every last moment.
Every fake friend.
Every false love.
Every attempt.
I just pretend,
till the day's done.
Its to fill the empty place in my chest.
To let my guard down,
so I can feel again.
So I can shed tears,
and get seratonin.
See, the bottle is my only true
  companion,
that sticks by my side when I've been
abandoned.
The meaning of growing up,
Perhaps lost in translation
I never realized what it meant,
To lose your innocence
And the feeling of playing catch up,
When the train had left the station.

When the heart move,
the world does too.
Closing my eyes,
Is the world still here?
Closing the world eyes,
Am I still there?
Open eyes is truth,
Closed eyes is false.
Is my eyes truth,
Or is the world's eyes false?

This is not just a tangible cold
But a chill in the heart
To say goodbye and love from afar
For the very one you held so dear
Became the root cause of many a fear
One never knows you're in the eye of the storm
Until you escape and look back
From the other side of the mirror
Things have now become clear
Uproot and cast away
The naysayers who sowed pitfalls in your way
Yet bid such not a bitter farewell
For hiding underneath that glossy shell
Unveiled a serpent you thought you knew so well

Sometimes the one closest to you is your biggest enemy...

Bountiful Land
They invaded this land because they thought it was rich
With bountiful natural resources and endless wealth
And a population to be enslaved against their will
The battles were long and arduous but they finally won
Another victory carved on their war axe
With thousands of soldiers killed or wounded or missing
This was nothing compared to the defenders
Destruction was almost complete and off the scale
Scorched earth policies and a will not to lose were to blame
But lose they did to a superior enemy force
Who now controlled a land of ashes and subjugated inhabitants
But that was fine for under the ground there were riches
Oil, gas, diamonds, coal, varied metal ores and much more
This would further their wealth and war production and killing
But it was all a lie…
Rock samples proved it was a second Japan
A barren land of nothing except dust, grit and dirt
The invaders fell for the biggest lie in human history
They had conquered a barren infertile land
Involuntarily following the Devil’s actions to the letter
His puppets on Earth killing for the lie of plunder
And watched all the while by the witch
Satan’s biggest enemy in the biggest war there was
She waited and got ready to strike her blow
With weapons never yet used on Earth

the architecture of truth falls flat
against the flourish of surrounding lies,
sparkling and glinting in the light,
drawing our gaze and jutting
their corners into compositions,
casting shadows across the truth below.

but the shoddy foundations of lies
are prone to failure and no matter
how fashionable or stylish,
time will reduce them to dust,
claiming those within their walls,
while the foundations of truth endure
time's assault like tardigrades
in the vacuum of space.

so the market of falsehoods grows,
ever eager
to keep the truth
from being bought
for as long
as possible--
let alone believed.
