Incorrect sometimes
the things we see.
Claws on the
bed room walls,
but branches
in a heavy breeze.
Or a door creek
from a suspected stranger.
Instead a gust of wind
the breath of mother nature.
A house burning
to the ground,
in reality a fireplace,
smoke spouting about.
Disappoint or relief,
in what we see.
So how should
we view the grin
from behind her dripping cheeks?

It must be so easy for you
To brush past in the hall
Keep your eyes straight forward
Like I never knew you at all

I bet not once did it cross your mind
The thought my pain might last
You were wrapped in selfish problems
Trying to escape the past

Now take a look where we are
Two strangers living side-by-side
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad
If our feelings had been rectified

I despise your false air of confidence
Your proud eyes won't even look my way
I'm the only one who sees you for what you really are
Everyone else sees the part you play

Some
people are as false
as my teeth

it scares me to love you,
because everything you love,
always gets old to you,
everything will someday lose its color to you.

like that day when we were outside,
strolling the park side-by-side,
admiring the glories of the cloudy day,
but it began to pour,
and you told me you loved the rain days prior.

you didn't embrace it,
you hurriedly ran the way back home,
dragging me along helplessly.

i arched a brow,
and blew the question out of my lips,
"i thought you loved the rain?"
you let out a raspy chuckle,
shrugging your shoulders as you bent down.

"it got old, the rain's full of bacteria,"
you responded like it was no big ordeal,
heaving as you ran your fingers through your pocket,
in search for your keys.

it hit me then,
falling in love with you,
would just be like loving the rain to you,
it'll get old and it'll be filled with bacteria.

and i thought you loved the rain,
but running from it isn't love,
and i thought i loved you, too,
but this isn't love, is it?
we lost our colors

Despair it is to lose all hope,
Yet to still believe,
That your heart and mind can cope,
That freedom you shall receive.

The broken image in the mirror will become anew,
With no cracks to feel,
Darkness withdrew,
Leaving only what’s real.

Shadows cast upon your heart,
Will be a sweet memory,
Such a work of art,
That little tender thing will be.

Your skin innocent and soft,
Shall be your favorite shield,
Your soul going aloft,
To a sacred field.

Feel that blood,
Rushing through your veins,
it makes a flood,
Amongst those beautiful remains.

A broken dream this has always been,
For human life is cruel,
This false hope has become a sin,
Indeed, I must be a fool.

When it hits, it hits real hard they told me
Reality is cruel for a dreamer you see
It tell us we can never truly be that we wish to be
But still there are those who are willing to pay the fee

They dare to dream, to let their imagination run wild
They refuse to hold back or stop believing like a child
The know full well that reality is not too kind
They let in every positive vibe they can
find
They believe that those who preach reality are blind
So they continue dreaming, leaving the doubters behind

I for one have been told many a time to face reality
That it is only fitting so that I may survive in society
But I never really believed in formality
So I try to escape from reality, call it insanity

They told you to stop day dreaming and wishful thinking
Maybe that's the reason why your dreams are sinking
i descend into what i believe
to transcend into moments of you
like dark hues under eyes i used to pour into
i break into motions with men i fought on a darkened end
of streets where i scoured to find signs in the night
like which way to write, which way was right
and i prose you in thought
a slumber in deep hum
a hymn to a rhythm, a tango i once fought
in front of desire and passion
the way you hold a lighter in echoed moments
from mountains atop midnight
where i eclipse my mind and transcend to find out
how i used to sleep at night
in dire moments with a rhythm of you
as we’re slow dancing to a cause i fail to see
yet hide to ignore
because beauty sees and the ego hides in what it wants
like melting with you
holding onto past mirages of men in might
in false knight armor
darkened elixirs to bring desire
i paint you a picture
for what you want to see
i breathe you into a world where
i paint you to be
how i’d like to see
how i’d like you to be
how the fog at night masked you to be
in summer of thirteen

I  was   one  -night
saying   lonely  to  police
bikers  who  has  already
left  the
patrolling  area.

that  i  was
in  love
by  honey-trap.

But  really  my  heart
did  not  permit
it.

I  was  saying
false.

I  was  saying
to    my  friends
and  other  working  people
that
I  was  not
in  love
in  2013  for 6  months.

But  my  heart
did  not  support  me.

I  was
saying  false.
