Marriage is a joke.

Under moonlight we spoke of an exchange of new sensations;
In the secrets of loves code, we created a conversation.
Into a series of unknown’s, we allowed ourselves to fall
And all in the hope of finding ourselves in love.

Musicians know the score is strumming my pain away;
If a she-devil wants to take me for a ride, then I shall happily go.
We are all lonely on the inside and waiting for just one big day;
Congratulations to you all!  I shall raise a toast!

To the bride and groom;
Let their love be doomed!
To the drunk father of the bride; have another drink!

To the best man, the worst of us all.
Get on with it, we need to consume,
This terrible food the groom’s mother has made;
What is this?

Is this really true love?  It will never last.
I give it a month before they are creeping behind your back.

Again she smiles, in denial,
Like she did when she first lied, on the day that you first met.
Now she is losing you from her memory; a drink and kiss takes it all.
She could have stayed with you,
But the more you do, the less is said.

A regular in a pub and a regular in love;
The last time you truly loved, it broke your heart; remember that?
Oh look there is your new love, being asked to dance;
Put a slow record on, get nice and close
And forget the love that you have.

She wants new things;
New lovers and a new reason to smile.
So your love is no more
And this thing you have always believed in, will only last a little while.

Beauty is forever fading and it will soon die.
In the days of our lives,
People always do as they please and they are empty on the inside.
You will never find true love, no matter how many times you try;
The phone rings, the lie stings…
I hope you live a long and bountiful love life.

She’s in my field of view.
So what am I to do?
I’ve nothing much to say,
but cannot look away.

This beauty caught my eye.
It’s pointless now to try—
though staring is a sin,
I’ll sin and take her in.

This beauty sits so near,
that my world stopped right here.
Now life’s very essence
is simply her presence.

Perhaps I’ll see her smile
if I sit here a while.
But if she won’t it seems
I’ll see her in my dreams.

The night hovered over us
as the Stars shined out bright
and the breeze danced around us.
The smell of cigarettes hung high.

You pulled me in close to you.
I wrapped my arms around you
As we danced along with the music.
the wind fell in sink with our steps dancing along with us.
I stole the cigarette from your lips into mine
Tasting both you and the nicotine.
Smiles and laughters escaped us.

We slowed down,
Still in each other's arms.
The wind slowed down and blew on us
pushing us into each other even more.
Our Hearts pounded on each other,
As if they were speaking to one another.
We looked up into the night.
Two stars hung right above us,
Shining the brightest,
Closer to one another then the rest.
You looked down at me and our eyes locked.
Heartbeats faster then ever.
We smiled
As we both realized then that our stars were getting aligned together.
We didn't see it coming,
But now there was no backing out.
We were each other's,
It became written in the stars.
- We never say it coming or thought we would fall in love, we tried to avoid it in fear of getting hurt, but the universe was in our favor and the stars were aligning us , there was no denying it, we still didn't say "i love you"s just yet but our hearts were beating it already

Sometimes I call to just blab
Alot of the time it's about nothing.
It's not really that I don't like to talk about how I feel.
It just takes it to another level
That we have this type of relationship.
That we can laugh & vibe about anything.
It's real because it gives a different type of importance.
A different type of love.
Something that doesn't have to be serious all the time.
I can dial you up or pop up and rest between your legs & just blab.
Blab & know that your really listening.
Blab because that's who we are.
Blab because there isn't any pride to it at all,
The world spins a bit slower

There is a place I want to go.
Somewhere I need to find.
A place familiar to home.
We can go.
Just me and you in this unknown place we call home.

Love me, cherish me, Bury me.
I would do the same.
Until the very end you shall have me and this unknown place we call home.
About a girl I met on my travels.

There was a time when i believed in falling
for falling is the first step to trust
and trust, i have lacked for the last few years
because sheded tears caused my steel heart to rust
for a while i was convinced there was a spark
hidden under heaps of high expectations and hope
past the overthinking, right next to quaint smiles and glances, and hidden under the wish that we’d finally elope
but love isn’t built with empty promises
nor is it molded with the lovley, “if only”
because when you fall in love with the idea of someone
falling turns to broken, the broken can’t mend, and your back to being desperate and lonely
i wish being loved wasn’t so difficult
but if it was easier no one would dare to fall
because we’d rather be shattered from falling with faith
than stay safe with nothing at all
We so misjudge the obvious places,
Searching after our most empty spaces,
Running straight for the prettiest faces,
Fooling ourselves in meaningless chases.

Has anyone found Love where predicted?
Fantasies to which we’re addicted?
Love’s not how the romantics predicted,
Foolish poets who end up conflicted!

Love is not the salve of those in despair,
Crying till morning for what is not there,
Trying to swipe on some profile somewhere,
They buy what’s on sale, but buyer beware.

They love too free, expecting rejection,
Just to love who made them their selection,
Love of convenience with no connection—
Love ends and begins with introspection.

Love is not something you find if you try,
Focusing on just what pleases the eye.
If Love arrives, there’s but one reason why—
You happened to meet the right passer-by.
