Worn, ******, raw
The goad wounds, but she
Can't stop kicking
Breaking rules, hurting self
Desperate for freedom

Tired, scared, trapped
A sheep caught in wire
boundaries meant for protection
Frightened, she fights harder
Barbs dig deeper
She's killing herself

If she could just hold still, submit
The Sheperd would set her free
Though thorns pierce his brow

Worn, ******, raw
The whip wounds, but He
Surrenders freely

Not me, I can't
The white flag I've spent
On a blood-soaked attempt
To bandage my own wounds
Feeble waste it was
Masked, they're still there
Worn, ******, raw

Passion drives poetry
Aligning my imagery

With truths deep inside of me
I’ve longed to break free

From suffering and hate
From chucking dinner plates

I reflect sipping nectar
Seeing how I got better

Feeling all I’ve conquered
All I have sobered

Now I glow, illuminate
Engrained in this trait

Growing never knowing
Destinations all fake

I won't fear men whose hands cause pain
Or those that hunt the young like wolves,
For beneath the wings of my Lord is my shelter,
And He serves His justice a hundredfold.
I won't fear men whose abandon the weak
Or those that tear this body apart,
For my Savior promised He'd always be with me,
And someday, life in my new form will start.

One day years ago, I had a panic attack relating to some things I had endured years prior, and that I feared might someday happen again. After praying for peace, I opened a google doc, and these are the words that came to me.

call me hopeless, but i'd rather sit here in silence,
letting the whirlpool of all the makeshift fears
bleed itself dry into non-existence
before i step out and show my face,
wondering if water damage might ruin the appeal,
diminishing the market value of this small business
selling dull knives and doors with no handles.
waiting for another chemical miracle to come through;
every failure should come with a free sample.
call me hopeless, but i'd rather sit this one out,
slipping away as lights approach from the distance,
holding my spot in line for another imminent breakthrough.

I sit with tea, bold and warm,
as rain hums its endless charm.
The earth sighs, a scent so deep,
a fragrance the heavens keep.

Drops dance upon my outstretched skin,
a memory lingers—where to begin?
She was there, a fleeting stay,
if only time had let her sway.

Destiny, oh, a playful tease,
sometimes kind, sometimes a tease.
It brings us close, then pulls away,
a cruel yet wistful child's play.

Yet I won't chase, I won’t demand,
for fate unfolds with unseen hands.
I fear to test what’s meant to be,
but faith—oh, that I set free.

For Krishna, Mahadev, Maa Durga bright,
belief stands firm in endless night.
Do my part, then let it flow,
the rest is not for me to know.

And though that moment hasn’t yet come,
I trust it beats like a silent drum.
For when heart and fate align as one,
the story’s written, never undone.
Laid there a panting Criminal,
To the left was a flaming Hemlock tree,
To the right was gentle  cold of white snow,
Hello crawled to the right
Leaving behind the grey road.
As he embraced the snow
Smiled and said
God, you saved me once more
This poem of mine is centred around the idea that one is forgiven as long as she/he accepts the "god". I disagree and this poem is a critique of the said idea. People tend to whitewash their image in the name of god and I quite dislike that.

Light imbued words joining each other
Creating a spell unique to one's mind
Showing honest care, like a mother

Wishing one's healing in a silent prayer
Believing in the magical power of faith
Citing without a sound, in a pleading manner

Sincere hope in fixing a rupture
Achieving what cannot be done
Ever longing for a brighter future

I was walking through the desolate woods.
I saw two paths.
One was quiet, with fewer footprints,
The other filled with souls tearing each other apart.

Everyone told me to go for the deadly path,
But I chose the silent way.
Even though it was difficult,
Love and truth still lit my stay.
Path of God might seems to be the most difficult path but it is the most beautiful path ever.

Do not come too close—God will cry.
A silent watcher in the endless sky.
A duty held for endless years,
Yet even gods can drown in tears.

To see it all and never change,
To watch, unmoved, through joy and pain.
What if, one day, He let it go?
A whisper lost beneath the snow.

Would He surrender? Would He break?
Would He abandon what’s at stake?
If even He could lose His mind,
Then what of us, so weak, so blind?
This poem explores the weight of responsibility, the fear of losing purpose, and the unsettling thought that even the strongest may break. If divinity can waver, what does that say about us?
Ahmed Gamel Mar 25
Don’t look at the sky, deceiving skies,
The world will end, you may gonna fry.
Get ready—don’t cry,
God is the trust in the darkest minds,
Don’t get too close, or God will cry.

Things crumble, crying skies,
Land sheeps, all so dry.
When no god, no man shall ever die,
All eternity—a whisper of flies.
God sees when sight has,
If God sees, why for a change
Do we pray without a lie?
No man shall live for a lie.

In God we trust, but us, we lie.
Why create God in a world full of eyes?
All can see, and none can die,
Unless you see none is there to actually cry.
Yet all are there when all lie,
Of a being falling from the sky,
Teaching us of past tribes,
How they lived and others shall die.
For them we save, and us, we try,
Can lie to death but still can’t die.

None can sleep after they try
To know God and find the lie.
That all was God—and still we die.
On land we stay, no heaven, no cry,
None shall lie when lands dry.
Souls forgotten still live in lies,
To others bring evil in the trial,
To get wins to the same lie,
And it ends in one scene—
All say, "Why don’t we say one little lie?"

Again, God lies to the ones who die,
They still cry, and they can also lie.

May God see—and choose to die.
"A moment of revelation, a whisper from the void. Written in the dark, in a trance of thought and fear. Read it—if you dare to question."
