The only love gained is the loss of it.
You're still mine, but my spirit convicts you're not.
The only way to say it is to say it.
My hand grasps emptily for your heart while your fingers intertwine with mine.
We thirst for an unfathomable security.
We chase love, yet disappointedly grasp wind.
We heart-wrenchingly stumble for a name that dies with the breeze.
What's ours will never be ours, not even ourselves.
And yet we pierce our own vitreous hearts denying our inevitable scarcity

your body will sting when you remember his hands
and you'll start contaminating your skin with the touch of strangers hoping all remnants left of his finger-tips fade away
self-love sounds like a foreign language since he walked away
but loving yourself is a process, long overdue
his name is not a synonym for contentment
I know there is a longing deep within your bones and it feels as though he's the only person who could satisfy it
this is your body whispering that it is time to love it back
you are allowed to lay down your weapons and give up the war with yourself

As the morning light seeped
Amongst the sky
The Moon fled
Until it faded below the horizon
Risking his life for the Sun.

When the Sun arose
She painted the atmosphere
Layering it with
reds, oranges, pinks, purples
To give her praise
For her love
That he would return another day.
When they both
could breathe.

When the tale was started to say
By unconscious birds,
All colors faded away
Except uncolored gray
And white and black.
I hope that I wrote the poem right because I have some problems with using some words which I don't know well.

Between the two of you I was equally divided.
In comes year two and now It’s mostly one sided.
Between the two of you I sat and sobbed unheard.
Your choices after truly dragged you through the dirt.
Brown like that fan you hit implies my choice of words.
So now you upgraded,
And all the past faded.
Like all the parts of you I liked, they're simply outdated.
No more time for family.
You’re stuck running and angry,
You chose to go with the flow, and now the tides changing.

If I could write you a letter
For how much I love you
The pages would be filled
From margin to margin
On every page
They would reach heights
That would be above reach

If the pages ever tear
Ever fade away
Just know I'll be here
To love you every day ❤

As flames of love begin to fade
I realize you mimic someone that I used to know...

              Whom now, I don’t remember.
Just feels kind of wrong when time tends to make you forget someone you thought you couldn’t go a second without.
