Hamilton plays in the kitchen
My eyes growing heavier each song
Staff are messing around as if
they are children on the playground
The world around me is moving
but for once i am allowed to be
still

My mind slows down for the first time in awhile
and the world becomes
a warm blanket
Comfortable and dark

Thank you

We slave away from nine to five, then crash without a spark,
Trading dreams for deadlines, lost in tasks that leave no mark.
We save and stash for someday grand, afraid to spend too free,
But life can change in just one breath—we're gone so suddenly.

What use is gold we never touch, or plans we never try?
The moments pass, the years slip by, no second chance to buy.
So chase the sunsets, book the flight, dance while you are near—
Because money can’t hold memories when you’re no longer here.
There was a man who worked and saved money his whole life to buy an RV to travel. He died before he was able to get it.. dont wait to do the things you desire.

A bare canvas cannot grace the gallery,
and solely a vacant amphitheatre applauds the painters
who refrain from staining their fingers,

the ones who shudder at just the flawed tint,
rage at one stray stroke,
and wince when colours slightly choke.

But when the palette drains the last drop of paint,
a canvas clad in imperfect hues
remains superior to the isolated one drawing in blues.

It’s like that first time you smoke a cigarette with your friends-
a little gross, but you feel so cool.

Or the first time you flash your
I.D. at the bar,
not knowing what to order, but loving the freedom to choose.

When you’re gripping the steering wheel so tight your knuckles turn white,
finally feeling tires touch concrete that isn’t a parking lot.

Decorating that ****** apartment,
paying the first month’s rent-
broke, yet so **** proud.

Holding your diploma in
trembling hands,
a piece of paper most people get,
but this one has your name on it.

That first day everything clicks at work,
a shift so smooth it’s forgotten on the rough days that follow.

That first kiss under the stars,
dopamine shockwaves flooding
every nerve-
you’ll stay up for days on the memory.

Even the devastating realization
that nothing lasts forever,
laying in bed as rain beats
against your window,
music reverberating through a hollow chest.
Every journey starts with something new
As long as you're brave enough to make the move

About everything

I saw, I cry, drowning tears --

in oblivion.
Film "Blade runner" (1982, Ridley Scott, after a novel by Philip K. ****) - Replicant (android) Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer) saves the life of 'blade runner' Rick Deckard, although he will be killed by him afterwards, and says: 'All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain'

We're sailing through time,

just we and the two people --

we have been before.

It’s not happening as you expected? So what? How do you know that what you wanted to happen was for the best?
Embrace the challenges. Embrace the unexpected. That way, you’re unstoppable.
I know it's hard sometimes. But we can grow so much! 💓

I stand at the end, looking upon the new road ahead.
I step on to a new journey, with its map unread.
I am unaware of the destination; how do I advance?
"I am just a piece of paper here", said the map at a glance.
I carry along with me a treasure trove of experience and memories,
To which I still cling upon for an appease.
I find it tough to leave the treasure behind,
Together that I earned with my people in our grind.
I learn about the road on every turn as I proceed,
I reach the fork and validity of my decision makes me worried.
For the demand of each path, I pay a similar cost,
Not on the way, but in the pool of my thoughts, I am lost.

And then
I said,
"All my poetry
is not
fictional"
putting all
these short
little bursts
of inspiration
in a different
perspective
