Riri May 24
Coffee hums, a kettle sings,
Sunlight drips through window slings.
Scrolling past a world in pain,
Yet pausing for the morning rain.

Glass towers rise like Grecian myths,
While love survives in texts and GIFs.
A pigeon flutters—urban dove—
Proof enough of whispered love.

Though Wi-Fi binds our mortal coil,
The soul still dreams through screen-lit toil.

The day I decided
life doesn’t have to be perfect
or go my way
Everyday,
The day I decided
there’s beauty in pain,
and the bad days
Make the good days even better!
That is
The day I decided
To start to really live.
